  • I love it and want more!!

This is a fantastic application. Buy it get it you won’t regret it. My only issue is I want it on my Mac and I desperately want landscape mode on my iPad!!!!
  • no MAC

without MAC this app is just as useless as iNet.
Color is bad for anyone who no longer has 20/20 vision
Preview show MAC addresses so after the paid download
    delete and forget

MAC address information is only available to apps running on iOS versions prior to 11. Unfortunately, you will not find an iOS app that will fetch MAC addresses on iOS 11, because it is not possible technically. Sadly, this is common for all iOS apps, not just Scany. The app is compatible with iOS 8+ and screenshots were made on iOS 10, where the MAC address functionality still works, however, on iOS 11 MAC addresses will also be displayed on the list under some conditions (see below). On iOS 11 you can add MAC addresses to hosts by typing it manually by hand. Once a MAC address is typed in it will be displayed in the list of hosts. Also, when you type in MAC address by hand on iOS 11 you will be able to use related functionality (such as Wake on LAN) as usual. P.S. The app description was modified and mentions of MAC address functionality was removed from it to avoid confusion. P.P.S. The major UI update is planned for 2018 - it will include UI color themes, so dark colors won't be an issue for people who doesn't like it.
  • Needs Landscape Mode

    Plus one for landscape mode

Planned it already. Thank you for your patience!
  • Thank you

Really appreciate that this app was updated to work with iOS 11. I don’t use it frequently, but when I do it provides me the information I am looking for. 🙂
  • Loving it!

This app does everything it says... Once you know what all the buttons do :P This is a powerful, must have app, for your toolkit. For those who don't like the interface, let the developer know before giving bad reviews! Personally, I like it :)
  • Swiss Army Knife of network tools

This app gets better and better. It's my favourite diagnostic network tool and has been for years. The UI also appeals to my geek side, it looks like something you'd see in a film like Firewall 😆
  • What more do you need?

Great app with all kinds of handy network tools, including WOL, Whois, tracery and ping for diagnostics and configurable port scanning for discovery.

Once you get past the odd UI and start creating groups of devices this is a very useful tool to have in your pocket.
  • Great tool, ugly interface

Five stars for functionality, but 2 stars for the user interface. The whole monochrome unix screen thing might be novel in some computer games, but it's not really the style I'd expect from a modern app.
  • Useful for small home network, "tech support" to friends

Very useful for checking what devices are up and what services available. Helpful from both situational awareness and security perspectives.
  • Very much thought and detail.

There was a lot of thought and detail that went into this app, but there is much more left to go. While it has a lot of bells and whistles, the overall operation of the app is a bit lagy (and sometimes completely unresponsive) on my device, and a few others I have used. (My device is an iphone 4s). Whole most of the lag comes from the opening of the app (seems to take quite a while), occasionally there's a bit of lag while going through various options and functions. There can be some more optimization that can be done, clearly, but it's a nice app. If they would do the optimization required, I would give a 5 out of 5. Sadly though, they seem to be dodging this issue. Every time a new update comes out, I'm a little more displeased, seeing this is not fixed.
