Best Heiroglyph App
I have been studying Middle Egyptian for about 6 months with the excellent GlyphStudy online group and have got to the stage where I regularly need to look up words - which is a bit ponderous in paper dictionaries. This simple design allows me to input the first three transliteration letters and then gives all the possible solutions - simple and awesomely effective! Plus it easily allows you to look up specific glyphs with Gardiner codes and has an English to Egyptian dictionary too. Definitely worth the money - like having about 5kg of reference books in your pocket!

Hieroglyphs screen freezes
I run on iPhone iOS 13. The hieroglyph screen freezes all the time. Makes this app useless. Thanks
Worth the price
You can pretty do anything needed for true research from a decent level. Beginner to intermediate for sure. English, transliteration, glyphs translations. Tools, and some helpful info. Gardiner code and so much more!

This is an incredibly well-designed and accessible Egyptian hieroglyphic- English dictionary. The surprisingly large data-base is always my first source when working on translations. Outstanding!!

I love this app but...
I have been studying mdw nTr for over 15 years this is a fantastic app. But I updated to OSX 11 and now it crashes every time I try to do a transliteration search. Help! :/
Excellent HieroglyphDictionary
I think it's really great that this app exists. It's wonderful to have an extensive sign list at my fingertips.
The UI takes some getting used to but once you get underway it's a breeze. It's truly an excellent app.
Easily worth the price considering books that are less comprehensive are as much or much much more in price than this app makes it a reasonable purchase.

Wonderful Tool!
This app allows me to save hours of searching text to find word in the Medu Neter. I can always have this tool in my pocket! Dua!

I love this app. A true tool for understanding and deciphering hieroglyphics. Well worth the money. The interface takes a few days to get used to. But like anything else you do get used to. Thank you for putting this app out there!
Well Worth It
This is really the only game in town and we're lucky it's so good. The interface can be a little clunky at times, but it's still much easier than a analogue dictionary. Easily worth the price and a huge help to my studies
