Does just what I need it to do--mark the map with places I've been and allows me to make notes about the pins I drop. Just needs the option to change pin colors so I can mark pending travel locations as well as potential ones.

why is the map zoomed out so far?
Every time you launch the app, or any time you return from your list of bookmarks back to the app, it zooms itself back out to about 500 miles across -- even if you zoomed in before. You have to zoom in EVERY time to get a usable view.
I posted this on the developer's suggestion forum, and the developer immediately told me that I was incorrect, and that the map doesn't zoom out on its own. Ok, I guess I'm just hallucinating then...

Excellent but annoying!
Easy to use, with clear worldwide map. Pinpointing locations is straightforward but then the display jumps to somewhere else on the planet that I have pinpointed .... but only sometimes. ???
Great app!
Great app. Perfect for noting where you've been. However, when search results aren't found, popup says "not location found" instead of location not found. Please fix spelling error. It makes you look stupid.

This app is perfect for what I need. I needed an app that I could mark all the places around the world I have been to during 27 years of military service. This fit the bill.
GPS map
I like this app, was what I was looking for! Only improvement would be that it constantly seems to check for your location whilst using the map, and being able to change the colour of the pins. Otherwise good :)
Pin color
This app is almost there. I would wish you had the option to use different color pins. Also, it would be nice if when you clicked on your note in the list format it would take you directly to that spot on the map.

Its useless. Went into help and ended up in Sierra Leone - I could write a list of faults but cant be bothered
A really useful improvement
I have just used this app to keep track of photos taken on a tour of outback Australia. It works well and does just as described but showing date would help. Would like to have the option of displaying lat/long rather than place name on the pin. Would also like to be able to view list of all pins with their information and to be able to export the list.
