  • Exquisite

Exquisite artwork . Calming and inspiring! Easy to use. Background music would be nice too. Can't wait for more from HybridWorks! I LOVE IT :-)
  • $2 well spent!

For an app that prides itself in having no point, it really does something for me. For anyone that likes to rearrange furniture to the sound of crickets and a bubbling brook, and if you are concerned about value, the clock mode is quite nice too. I haven't figured out how to turn off the sound when you make a change in scenery without turning off all the sound completely. This could use some more customizations and some wildlife that move around, but it's on its way to ambient greatness.

  • Yoritsuki updated version

I had the previous version 1.2.2 loaded in my iTouch for some time. iTunes recently automatically downloaded the upgrade - but the controls have now gone backwards. The sound which I used to be able to keep OFF now turns itself on every time I access the app - which is getting to be extremely annoying as there are times, depending where I am, when I don't want sound on the iTouch. Also the doors don't stay where I set them any more, they keep opening on a mid-way default, also very annoying,
If these two glitches could be fixed - or put back where they were working to begin with, then this would be a top app again as its really beautiful. But right now I don't access it as I used to.

  • Awesome!

I love the classic Japanese Architecture and styling, and this really shows you the fundamentals of their interiors and elements. Once more, you can select two viewing modes, one being a clock and showing the interior, and another is exterior mode, showing the outdoors. At night, its brilliant. You can hand move some of the interior elements, like the lamp, the hanging lanterns, and the Shogi screens/doors. You can also activate raid, great for falling asleep with. This is one very well done App, well crafted and animated. Thanks for making this. I really enjoy it.

  • Enjoyable

I like this app alot. Very relaxing. The issue with the sound continuing after app is closed has been fixed in the most recent update. All the way at the end of items to choose from there is a picture of an iPod. Clicking on it tells you how to stop the background sound after app is off. Much better now that I don't have to set the sleep timer to stop the sound.

  • Relaxing

Very nice, very peaceful, very Japanese. Lovely.
  • Great App!

This App is great, the graphics are absolutely gorgeous & the sounds are so soothing. I use it constantly to "zen out". I really hope the seller/developer takes this & "runs with it" adding even more to it in the future(even more furniture, accesories, maybe even animals, etc.). I hope to see many more Apps from this seller, a city scape or island setting with this same concepts would be awesome.

  • Wonderful app - but please fix sound problem

This is a gorgeous app with meticulous attention to detail. Like Koi Pond, it's not a 'game.' It's a tiny environment, and very rewarding and relaxing if you allow yourself to be pulled in to the microworld that the Hybridworks folks have created.

Please do fix the sound problem, though - when I turn the app off, the sound continues, and the only way I've found to shut it off is to reboot the app.

  • moderate user

I love this app to death. It's great. You know what would be make it beyond great though, if the program would make it so this app would be able to utilize TV out with the ipod touch. So then, I could display it on my HDTV. That would truly make this app complete.
  • Wow...

    really nice app!
i kind of agree with the comments saying that it could be better with more sounds,
but as it is... its beautiful.

this is exactly what i want to experience when i go to japan... well sort of ^-^'

the one item that I would really like to see in this app, is a Teru-teru-bozu (てるてる坊主).

    Thanks for a wonderful experience!
