Used this app to walk LEJOG

Loved it. Was my sole companion on this 1100 mile solo walk. Was terrific, reliable and wholly effective. One little thing I would like is to have a better search function that allows me to search for towns and villages.

Perfect!!!

As avid hikers, my wife and I love OutDoors. The GPS tracking is first rate, we love planning our routes and the best feature - access to the OS maps. We're particularly fond of the new subscription service which provides access to all the maps

Essential for the outdoors

I really love this app. Its so convenient to be able to access maps in areas with no cellular signal. This has become part of my essentials list when I go outdoors.

Fantastic outdoors app!

Love the product and how easy it's been to download OS maps when I need them. Can't say enough good things.

OS Online update

My wife and I have been using OutdoorGPS maps for iPhone since 2010, mainly for long distance walks in the UK eg Lands End to John O'Groats. It has been brilliant!! The recent facilitation of online 1:25K and street maps will make this app even more useful.

Dishonest - national park maps not really included

This product was advertised as coming with Great Britain National Park maps. Those maps never successfully downloaded and now the app wants to charge me for them. Avoid this product and dishonest company.

A dream come true

This app is what map readers dreamed about 20 years ago because it solves the problem of knowing where you are. Everyone should learn to read a map and use a compass if they walk on unmarked trails, but if you have a map and the app, you can never get lost even if your battery goes dead. It is really cool that you can record your walks and find them again another day. This app is not cheap, but neither are the printed OS maps.

Love it.

Great app providing an easier to read GPS than my garmin. Prompt and helpful support team. Hope we can see ability to buy maps for other countries like Australia and New Zealand in the future.

Ripoff

Virtually no content, only a shell from which you have to buy any maps or details...at prices of $13 and up each!

Brillant

Intalled and went out walking in Lake District, georeferencing is very precise and the interface extreemely intuitive. As a foreigner (brazilian) I never used a British OS map before.
