This must be the most innovative and fun to use calculator I have ever come across. Using it on the iPad is a sheer delight.

Good idea but not ready for prime-time
No statistical functions, too difficult to move and link bubbles, help documentation is basically nonexistent, and no ability to use an array of numbers from a spreadsheet or data table. This is a great idea for an app, but I believe I have just wasted my money. This isn't ready for purchase just yet.Show less1scholar
A Work-in-Progress
If you want a ordinary calculator, there are plenty better ones within the App Store, and I'd guess that you may well be disappointed if you pick this one.
This is the first stab at something completely different in constructing and manipulating calculations, using the power of a touchscreen to represent relationships between stages of the calculation.
Given that the app is a work-in-progress, there are limitations: you can't save a calculation web and reuse it; you can't zoom in to get a closer look; and perhaps most tellingly, the interface isn't intuitive and can be quite frustating to begin with.
This probably explains why there are some lower ratings for Oovium. For me though, it gets five stars, if only for its future potential (even if I'm being charged 59p to be part of an ongoing development!)Show lessIdle Tears

This app is great. I like to use it as a math notepad. You can do your work and then go back and view, compare and edit all your previous data.
My current favorite feature is the text labels. Thank you Joe and Aepryus :)

its prbbly a great app but the "help" icon does not really Help! no explanation or details as to how to work this app. App/developer site has vague explanation of this app. & yes i prbbly should not have dowloaded it! I wish i could take my .99 to purchase a much more reasonable & helpful app.xraycheL2010
Cool concept
This is a good idea but it's hard to actually use.
- no zoom
- no scrollbars helping with canvas navigation
- black is a poor choice of background color
- no labels for boxes
- no separation in a box between references from other boxes and numbers entered directly.
- can't move a box once it's down.
- no visual sign of connections like lines.
- needs more functions
In short, it's hard enough to use and once it is set up you get lost quickly. No go for now but I gave it an extra star for potential!Show lessOmniusPi
