Underrated app for video surfing
Great app
Unable to connect
I have just started using this app for the first time and unimpressed as since the last week when I figured out how to sign into daily motion app on my smart tv, the app on both my phone and my tv do not work. I have to watch everything through safari on my phone. Disappointing because one I figured out how to use the app I was super excited to finally find something with some great content to watch. Unhappy.

Hello, we're sorry for the issues that you have encountered with our app. A new version of the app (6.2.5) is currently rolling out to the store. Updating to this version should resolve the issues that you have been facing. This update concerns iPhone / iPad only (not Apple TV)
Edit watch later/ playlist
Infuriating usability
1. Google produces better search results than are possible within this app. The search option within the app only shows a fraction of the search resultsso really can’t be trusted.
2. Videos automatically play after watching one video and there’s no way of switching this off. One way round this is to create a playlist containing the video you want to watch & play it from there. Utterly infuriating though.
3. Videos showing a range of available qualities but dailymotion will not allow user to select the higher quality. It seems to decide what’s best even if you haven’t asked it to ‘autoselect’
4. Watch history is inaccurate — stops updating after a while with out warning. I’ve wondered if it has a limit on how much it can hold but the app fails to inform the user of this. Also annoying that there’s no option to view these by date.
Altogether a very unsatisfactory app.
