  • with the latest release, online depositing has taken a step backwards for me

    I used to be able to deposit checks easily. Now it’ll take the front picture, and then I flip it over and it tells me to flip the check even though it is already flipped over then it says put it on a dark background and it still won’t work, even though it’s always worked on the same background. also it needs to have an option within the app to submit a suggestion or error. A couple years ago, I probably gave this a five star.

  • “New updates are here!” That make it WORSE!!

    I’ve had accounts with other banks, and every one of them had a digital banking app that actually worked 99.9% of the time. Zions however, has issues more than it doesn’t!! So these new updates they kept talking about had me relieved that they finally, actually listened, and got it right. Nope…still the same. Might work when you need it to, but it probably won’t. 2 days in a row now I’ve logged in, and it shows my accounts, but when you go into them, it will not show transactions!! FRUSTRATING!! I’d love to be able to see what has cleared, what hasn’t. Wouldn’t think that’s too much to ask for. Not exaggerating but this is almost a deal breaker for me. I’m about to change banks!!!

  • This app is always having problems steer clear/Update

    We are in the process of moving everything from this bank to another. The reason is the app. It’s unreliable and as the warning on the website says “online banking is shutting down intermittently…” which by the way has been going on since Friday. So for two days they have been working on it and haven’t fixed it. This is typical of Zion’s online and app banking. After three years of this we are done. Can’t wait to get everything transferred over and be done with Zion’s bank. What an incompetent app. I wouldn’t advise even banking here because of that.

    Update: we are still moving everything over to a new bank, direct deposits etc. Takes time. The app hasn’t been as glitchy but I hate the inconvenience of the new OTP. I have to have a one time passcode delivered to sign in every single time from email or phone? I already have a password and face biotics to use. I need to be able to smoothly sign into my app quickly. Thankful our new bank isn’t doing this.
