Horrible for year end accounting
After all the time I spent making categories for my business account I cannot get detailed information for each category in order to do my taxes. Also, when I put in an expense, sometimes it won’t save the name I give it and reverts back to the wrong name or category. I had high hopes that looking at my expenses in preparation for taxes that I’d be able to easily see the categories I created and do easy filters, but no actually I wasted a ton of time and effort keeping track of everything in my university of Utah credit union bank account, I need to find a better system or app. it shouldn’t be that hard to get a total of deposits, and a total of expenses for each individual category especially when you search for that specific category in your account that you created.Show lesswestonphoto
Not all change is good
The credit union used to be referred to as University First. When the application reflected the same name, everything worked quickly, smoothly and easily. The moment they changed their logo and branding to this UFirst business, everything bogged down. The application is slow to respond. Sometimes it hangs up completely. Logging in is slower, sometimes it won’t work at all. There were rarely issues before the rebrand. Not sure how or why they made the changes that they did but it was not for the better.Show lessKoprtopJ
Really Not An Improvement
I wish I could give this app a better rating, but I can’t bring myself to do it. The old app definitely needed a facelift, and this app has a more modern look to it, but it is incredibly clunky. There are so many times where I’ve had to completely close the app right after signing in because it simply won’t load. It just gives a blank white screen. When the home page does load, there have been a plethora of moments where, I click on an account, or I try to make a transfer, and the app goes blank, crashes, or generally doesn’t respond. This “improved” app has been around for a while now, and the updates help (a little) but it is not remotely reliable. In fact, it’s been an amazing incentive to do my banking in person.
Tangentially related is the website. It has, basically, the same problems. Blank screens after login requiring multiple page refreshes for it to finally display, etc. I would love to see this app be great, but it’s currently anything but.Show lessChrispcreme
