App bait and switches you if you hit the play button
I’ve been using this app for years and about a year ago they turned the play button into a bait and switch add button to disreputable companies. If you have and iPhone delete this app now and ask siri to play wjr on apple music. I just deleted this app myself.Theewhiteknight1

I downloaded this to listen to an MSU basketball game. It was instead some right wing nut job rambling on about Liz Cheney being a secret democrat. LOL. Deleted.Lousyferr
Worst radio app ever
The app randomly stops playing then you have to listen to ads for 30 seconds before you can listen to the program you are trying to listen to. Im sick of the ads you have to listen to ads already from the programs taking a break. Fix this crappy app.Metal50o
Good most of time...
Tends to drop more than you’d expect. Delays too long when I move away from wifi requiring switch to cell data. Usually have to swipe it off and relaunch. Relaunch forces listen to sponsor ad. Over and over. Annoying when listening to an interview and miss important info trying to reestablish link. Seems a bit temperamental .Show lessCjb48083

I agree, I tune out wjr because of so many long commercial breaks. I can set my watch when the commercials will start. Frank is given just a few minutes to interview then has to break for traffic and weather, which is just an excuse for more commercials . I know radio is free for us, but so are the other stations. The team that wrote this useless, buggy app that does not work (it does not go into play mode) defeated the team that flooded it with ads by a large margin.
Too bad because I like the radio station. So now, it listen to music, instead.reymoz
Can’t listen live, podcasts won’t play
I should not have downloaded the app after reading the reviews. I could not play live radio. When I searched and chose yesterday’s Paul W Smith show, it played for a few minutes and kept turning off. Needless to say, I’m deleting the app.Ms Loudpipes
Always honest and up to the minute info.
There’s no better way to stay informed on everything Michigan. Everyday I learn something that really matters to my life. Can’t imagine a morning without Smith, Beckman and Rush. No spin, always a positive, proactive outlook. Listen every day.patriotic pug
Terrible, ads Like crazy
App will not play unless you leave it open (not in background). Then when you reopen you just watch the 30 second commercial again. Complete joke. Deleted.
Update - Dec 2019 - tried again hoping the app would have been improved. iPhone XS Max. App played 3 commercials then froze. What a joke. Others say same is common. WJR YOU ARE MORONS. Now I’ll never be back. I refuse to turn your station on because you app is a scam.Show lessSean M Fidler
