Just a giant waste of time
Another crappy update. It’s been a few months, but I thought I’d try again. The constant frustration of crashes, ads cutting in and failures to load have me looking for podcasts to replace my regular listening schedule.

You will be deluged with Ads. After a while, it’s Insulting. Find something else to listen to, or just talk to yourself! If I could have rated it ZERO, I would have! Agonizing to listen to!!! You Have Been Warned!!!!wizard39
Vanishing reviews?
I wrote a negative review in April. Nothing obscene and nothing untruthful. It disappeared from their list of reviews two days later. It makes me think how many other reviews have disappeared. I wonder how long it’ll take this one to be deleted.Bellvilleger
Need to register? Really?
For the last month or two, the app has allowed only registered users to use it. I DON’T WANT TO REGISTER! I have enough sites, etc. tracking me and I won’t allow them to. I often just want a convenient way to listen to the shows but now I can’t, at least not on WJR. If you are interested in picking up some of the shows elsewhere, you can still use the KSFO app, they have a SKIP button on the registration page. You can get Rush, Sean, Savage, and Levin there, sorry WJR, I won’t be listening to your ads......Show lessRAA711
Tried it again, horrible
Constantly stops, adds commercials, wants gps to identify location and trash the battery, screensaver stops the stream, WHY.
The purpose of this app can’t have anything to do with radio, sorry frank, guess I can’t listen to u anymore from my phone.Boatbeat
Candy crush ad takes control
When opening the app, you’re treated to an ad. The Candy Crush ad won’t show the X to close it except for one split second after the ad ends. Then it automatically opens the App Store which fails because of my settings. There is no way to close the App Store failure without closing the WJR app.Caped KennyD
Stops playing when phone locks?
Why would the app stop playing when the phone is locked? This is of little use.Mikes1234
Ads overriding program
I don’t understand why they have more ads then they already have on the radio. Frank will start to introduce someone and an ad overrides him and takes a bit to stop. It’s annoying, I’ll have to find a little radio to listen with🙄 I deleted the app before but thought I would give it another try today -still bad
Reading other reviews I will add that they must have fixed the problem of it turning off when phone goes to sleep, currently my phone is asleep and it is still playing on my blucube.Show lessPageisbusy

I used to really like this app but the recent updates have made it useless. Now they make you register and provide personal information just to listen to radio? I deleted itiPhone newbie22
Bring it back!!
This used to be my go-to app EVERY DAY!!! Now it no longer plays in the background, or when my phone goes to sleep. I’m uninstalling it and trying another that promises background play.SinginLin
