Fails Every Time

Every time I have tried to place a capsule order using my iPad it fails. I can choose the capsules and go right through to placing the order and,from memory, it goes to payment and I get an Order Successful message but then nothing happens.
Actually something does happen, the order just shows up in the My Orders section waiting for further action such as payment but then it just goes around in circles

Great App Minor Improvements Required W. Out of Stock Items

Overall a great app, really easy to use. The only feedback is for out of stock items it should automatically remove it from the cart. At the moment it prompts me to remove the out of stock item but there’s no indication which item is out of stock so I have to guess until it’s the one- which really ruins the ordering experience because otherwise it’s perfect. If you could consider having the app so out of stock items automatically get removed at check out that would be great and then this app would be a 5/5 :)

No longer can pickup?

It’s going from bad to worse!
Latest update no longer can pickup at store ?
If I’m forced to pay for shipping, you’re dead.

Every update, just gets slower and slower! It’s about time you tidy it up. WHERE’S MY LOCAL Boutique? Where’s Westfield Carindale’s boutique? Months later, my local boutique still doesn’t show on the app , even with the latest update!? Why the only option shown on the app is 14Km away, when the new boutique is less than 2km!? Previous: WHERE’S MY ORDER?? You must include Order ID N° on the Order Confirmation email as well ! (not just on Order ready, or the Receipt emails) I got two emails on Tue. for two orders, but only got Order is ready email, for one of them! 3 days later, I’m still enquiring about my second order, which “cannot be traced without Order ID”. Yet I got charged twice and got two Order confirmation emails , but these are very vague without an Order ID n° ! Who missed this gaffe ? If you send an order ID n° on the two subsequent emails, WHY NOT on the first email too? Fix this ASAP and deliver my order.

Useful but could be improved

Generally, the app is fairly simple, quick and easy to use. However, there are a few points which could be improved:

- Ease of recycling: Whilst you can get pod recycling bags for free, the process of sending the pods back to Nespresso as per their instruction is not clear. They state you can hand over the pods for recycling when you have a coffee pod delivery but you have to specifically arrange for a recycling pick up separately, which makes no sense. The recycling pick up option is not available at check out and it’s not clear how to do this. You can send from a post office, but it seems unnecessarily complex to do recycling.

- Coffee pods sizes: Of course, the sizes of the coffee pods are different depending on the type of coffee and they are under categories (espresso and double espresso, coffee and gran lungo, etc.). Whilst they put them under categories, there are different ml measurements for some of the pod types within the same group. It would be better if they were specifically divided based on the ml of the pod itself and not mixed with pods of other sizes.

- Advertised coffee pod intensity: For some reason, they only state the coffee intensity on about 50% of the pods which seems redundant. If you’re not going to confirm the coffee intensity for all of the pods, don’t do it at all.

Overall, it’s a decent app but for the amount you pay for a coffee machine and pods, the details should be clearer.

Dodgy Deliveries!!

As far as Nespresso is concerned I would have liked to have marked them 5* as I have done in the past and also as I adore their product {Arpeggio} and have been doing so for the last 12 years!
Unfortunately when writing a truthful feedback, there is always a 90% chance of reading a ‘but’ or ‘however’. Sadly, I am afraid this is one of those occasions where I have to down score. When my last coffee order arrived the courier just left the Nespresso box outside my front door. He / she did not ring the door bell or knock on the door! Fortunately I was walking just by chance across my hallway from one room to another and through the hazed small window in my front door noticed a shadow running off. When I opened my door the courier had disappeared down the pathway to the rear car park.
‘Unfortunately’ or ‘but’ {take your pick, you were warned}, the package was damaged, wet through with a super downpour and spilled everywhere when I attempted to pick it up. Instead of picking it up straight away I made the mistake of giving chase to the courier who had a driver and escaped my wrath. I did notice that the parcel was open, the contents intact and fortunately nothing missing.
Left in this neighbourhood for 20 - 30 minutes and I would guess someone else would be enjoying my 3 x daily fix!

Great app, missing a couple of useful tools

I find the app really useful for ordering and perusing the range of stock available, but there are a couple of pieces of functionality which I think would make this a great app. For those with a catering background it’s possibly obvious, but an ability to track our ‘stock’ would be good.

I regularly try different blends, including the barista blends, so it would be useful if I could track the number of pods I have of different types direct from the app. Each time I order, the app should update with the items I’ve ordered, and then each time I use a capsule, the machine could relay that back to the app to update my stock. This could then be shown on the order screen so I can see what I have in stock when ordering. I currently have around 80 or so capsules at home, and have just ordered a further 70, so it’s difficult to track in my head!

The other thing which would be useful is the option to give each coffee a personal rating, allowing me to see what I thought of each one when ordering - with a score out or 5 or 10 - so I can see which ones I enjoyed and wish to have again. With so many available, sometimes it’s difficult to remember (I have a health condition which causes cognition issues, impairing my memory).

More information!

You could certainly provide a lot more of a description of your coffee taste! I want to know whether the coffee is more mellow, etc. And I’d like to see a richer smoother espresso blend as well. Better crema would be appreciated.

It’s ok but could be a lot better

It shows last orders only as complete orders. Usually what I want to do is reorder specific items but there is no quick way of finding my favourites to reorder.

It doesn’t connect well with special offers. I received a discount on my last order but I have no idea whether it relates to the offer that I’d just received by email. The link through from the email took me to the website which said the link had expired - five days before the expiry date in the email. The app said nothing at all until a discount appeared at checkout.

And why does the app show a special offer for vertuo capsules when I’m in the tab for original? Since I am a long-standing customer and the app knows what sort of machine I have and what I usually buy, it would be nice if it didn’t treat me like someone who’s wandered in at random.

App is useless

My old credit card expired so I updated my account with the new one. Waited for my usual delivery and nothing arrived so I called their CS - updated card details again and was told I didn’t ‘link’ my new card to my recurring order. CS told me everything was fixed and new order would arrive in next few days.
Waiting… no delivery or email confirmation so I checked my Nespresso account and found no new order had been created and my old credit card details were still in the system !
Tried to change them again myself on my recurring order - came back with error message - an error occurred whilst trying to update details - three times.
I gave up trying to fix the recurring order and just made a single order.
The app is slow and clumsy and it is not immediately clear where credit card details are located in case you need to change them
