Good but a few flaws.
This comapny makes by far the best pinball games for the iPhone. This one is definately the hardest of their three offerings. It has a few flaws they can fix in an update. Issue 1. The ball gets sent into the side pockets waaaaaaaaaay too much. They had the same problem with wild wild west and fixed it. Issue 2. The gap between the flippers is too big. Balls can go down the center of the table with zero chance of being saved. Issue 3. The challenges and tasks are completely incoherent. The whole king kong challenge makes no sense at all. I went though the growing pains of wild wild west and I'm sure these guys are on top of this. Still worth the price to own!Show lessRoznstyle

I was a huge fan of The Deep but this version is extremely frustrating
1. Within 5secs EVERYTIME you get a gutter ball on the left or right or BOTH.
2. Paddles are either sticky at times or respond too late, especially when the ball is flying around the table.
3. Barely any instruction or how to complete missions.
Did anyone test this game before publishing? Anyway, a fresh change from the last version but points need addressing asap.Show lessHammermememer
Fun, but too hard
This is a really fun pinball game and worth the 99 cents. The graphics are great and the sound effects are fun BUT, it's way too hard. Like another reviewer stated, the King Kong mode is way too difficult and the chances of it resetting because you roll over a key is pretty good. I got to the point that I don't even try for it anymore. Another problem is that almost everything resets after every ball. This is what greedy operators use to do with real pinball machines in the past, which renders them impossible. I still LOVE real pinball so I DO know how to play! But, please give us an option that allows the fun things to be easier to access. Oh, and capture mode is wild, and FUN...but you will most likely lose the ball quick. You can beat it by holding the ball in your flipper until it times out!Show lessbaltobob1

I LOOOOVE pinball & have an entire home page of pinball icons- but this is my fave with The Deep running a close 2nd (also by GameProm)- all of the challenges can make thus a game to really work or play hard at-or you can ignore all that and just react & slap the bumpers - either one will give you many hours of retro-style fun, and the "feel" of the flippers when they hit the ball is VERY realistic- the sound effects also help your brain to "think" you are playing on a glass/steel etc pinball machine, old-school style!
This is probably the hardest of the 3 GameProm pinball apps, but also the ine I'm finding the most enjoyable after MANY hours of playing. Highly recommended!Show lessDuplyCatt
Sutch s fun game
This game has got soo mutch to do in in it ur alwase going of on ramps and trying to get the golden ball in the middle. If this game had a little bit at the beging telling you what evry thing is in the game like the wild west and the deep it would make it soooo goodApp app . Com

Really great table but when I play a second game without exiting first the tilt stops working. Kinda annoying having to exit after each game. Still ace though!Dougiegee
A Guide
I have seen many reviews about how people don't know how to get stuff. Here is a guide for everything worth getting:
THE GOLDEN BALL: Rotate the circle in the center by hitting four dots on either side of the board (left side turns circle left, right side turns circle right). If you rotate it above the colored block in the next inner ring of the circle, the ball rolls forward to that ring. Repeat this until the ball falls down the hole in the middle. Very hard to do, I've only been able to do it once.
THE PLANE: Pretty easy, just knock down the little wall in front of the block that is to the left of the fortress. Hit the block again and it will light up, moving the leaf that blocks the path to the plane. When that happens, just hit the ball up the path.
A MISSION ( KEY): A mission is the same as the key. Since most people seem to know how to get the key anyway, I'll just say what it does. When you hit the ball where the arrow tells you to, your reward is that it moves the maze. This helps with getting the golden ball, which I wrote about above. When you insert the key, the maze moves in the fastest direction in getting to the next lower level in the maze.
Great game, but if you want an easier pinball game buy The Deep.Show lessCAlexOB

Pinballing excellence. An essential purchase for all pinball fans. Make sure you check out the guide on their website for assistance with building higher scores. Only slight problem is the side gulleys which do feature a little too often, but other than that it's pretty flawless.Invader79
