  • Terrible

The app gets stuck and won't work constantly. I wasted four hours inputting items to left with a frozen app that won't let me sign back in. Don't waste your time!
  • Connection problem

I keep getting an error message saying there is a connection problem. Check network settings. What does this mean??? I'm on wifi. No way to contact developers. Otherwise, I use this app all the time. Very helpful.
  • Love this

I so love this application. I use to have my inventory on my pc on an excel spread sheet. This is so much better. Only one problem, my husband is using things and not telling me.

UPDATE: changed my review to one star. I want to print my list or at least email to myself so I can print. There is a place for print in settings but it will not print. No longer as happy as I was originally.
  • Love it!

I love this app! Have no problems creating categories and entering items. Like knowing how much of an item I have on hand and the warning the app. gives you when you're nearing the expiration date. Very nice that it gives you several choices of how you like things listed. I like it that the categories are listed alphabetically. I always know exactly what I have on hand. The only thing that keeps me from giving this a 5 star rating is that although the categories are alphabetically listed, the items you list within the category are not. Fix it so the items listed within the categories are alphabetized also and you've got a 5 star easy to use perfect app!
  • I'd like a refund!

Please do not waste money or time on this app. I got it twenty minutes ago and it has deleted all of the contents I've input three times. DO NOT BUY THIS APP. And I want my money back.
  • Ok

I thought I would use this app a little more than I have but in going back in to try using again, now I can't even get a shopping list up. I don't know whether it was a glitch from the last update or what. I try and use the shopping list but it kicks me out of the app all together.
  • Has potential...

As a beginning point, it is good. However it needs to be improved
    1. Option to place used item into a shopping list.
    2. Backup to PC or even better sync between PC, iPad and iPhone. Use my iPad for cooking, use my iPhone for grocery shopping need info both places. New version claims this. I have created an account and loaded the new version on both devices..don't see anything different as I don't log in on the devices.
    3. Sub categories and a notes section for each item.
    4. Needs ways to turn of and/or manage the pop up notices. They are annoying.
  • Decent app but needs more functionality

This app is almost there but needs some more functionality in order to be really useful:

    1. You should be able to generate a shopping list of things you are out of. A view of those items etc. There is no way to do that in this release.
    2. You should be able to indicate the type of quantity-1 what? Jar? Pound? Entering just a number, for example for flour isn't really useful. Do I have 1 pound or 1 bag left?
    3. You should be able to select the category when you enter the item not have to move it to the category after.
    4. Add a Settings sectionwith Help.
The developer was very responsive when I e-mailed a question.
  • Not yet a replacement for pen and paper

I update my pantry inventory at least once a week, using printed out sheets so can stand in the pantry or in front of the fridge and note what I have on hand. I was hoping that there would be an iphone or iPad app to eliminate the paper updates. This app is the only one that is close to what I was looking for, but it falls short In a few ways:
    - you cannot add an item directly into a category, you have to add the item, then edit, then drag to the proper category. Would be nice if you could add direct to a category without any extra steps
    - the expiration defaults to the current date, which makes everything red unless you change it. Would be nice if the expiration was optional and not required.
    - subcategories or location (with sorting) would be helpful - so you could have note if an item is in the freezer or fridge or pantry
    - a small thing: the first letter does not default to capital when entering a food.

However, the search for recipes is a nice feature.

Hopefully the developers will continue to improve it!
