Can’t DIRECTLY paste images into SMS
Seems strange that in order to paste an image into a text message, I must first tap on the photo button as if I’m going to add one from my camera roll. Only then, do I see the option to paste from clipboard. That is not very intuitive at all. The app should allow simply pasting directly into the text field like any other messaging app. Still, I’m grateful that this app exists, because the morons at Google just refuse to add a passcode lock to the official app.

Response from developer
In order to paste an image, hit the camera icon to the left of the reply field. If there is an image on the clipboard, you will get the option to insert that image.
Essential app for GV!
ProTip: If you’re receiving errors when making changes to your profiles, remove your Google login and add it back again. GV Connect was among the first apps I excitedly purchased upon acquiring my iPhone 3GS (yes, that long ago). Since then, while many competing apps became abandonware, GV has stood the test of time and adapted to Google’s API changes. The only limitation is a delay in push messaging which can be worked around in different ways. (Another reviewer expressed interest in Push API on a subscription basis, and I second that request.) I have an ObiTalk device and use Google Voice for my “home phone”. My favorite feature of GV Connect is the ability to have multiple location-specific profiles that engage automatically. This enables me to forward the GV number to Obi (and all house phones) when I’m home (and not annoyingly ring my cell simultaneously). When I leave home a default profile engages that rings my cell and disengages the Obi. When I’m at work I use a profile that GV on DND (do not disturb), save for a family call group. This app is truly magical. I never expected Google to support GV for as long as they have. This app adds tremendous value to me and to ensure it remains sustainable for the developer, I would support a subscription model if that would help ensure it’s long term availability. Ive also used the tip jar time to time :)

Best app, Google voice management
You can have multiple accounts connected here and manage them all. There’s some enhance functionality when you pay two dollars and it’s worth every penny I highly recommend it and you should support developers because they created really really good app that is paired with Google voice GREAT.
This guy cares
I have had this app for many years. It has had to change some good and bad with the google infrastructure constantly modified.
For those that read customer service is poor this is bull.
This developer who is not in America has always directly responded to any issue that has popped up and with google they do. He does not send some lame canned response and the same developer has owned this app since day one.
Recently big issues with the app and there was a version change within 2 days. Try that on your other apps.

Great App - 1 Problem…
I’ve had this app for MANY years. I appreciate the developer keeping it going. I have 2 different Google Voice numbers, so I use the native Google Voice app from Google for one account and this app for my 2nd GV account.
I know I can use the native GV app with multiple account now (before you couldn’t) but I like having 2 separate apps.
Also, this app has some great features the one from Google doesn’t have. The notes feature is GREAT!!!
Only problem is, notifications don’t seem to work anymore. That might be due to Google or iOS. Hopefully the developer can figure it out.
Other than that, it’s a great app.

STOP! Don’t waste money
Don’t waste your money on this app. You can’t place DIRECT or VOIP calls and it charges you for MMS functionality which are all included already with the official Google voice app. Can I get a refund?
Well supported App!
Yet another server side change by Google breaking the app. The developer promptly released a fIx correcting the problem. Well done and thanks, Andreas.
The app itself is a great way to manage multiple accounts and settings as well as adding a few extra enhancement. And it works on older iOS version the the official app does not. Check out the developers website for details.
I appreciate the “tip jar” approach the developer uses rather than a subscription model.

Better than ever!
I’ve been a user for about ten years I believe and there has been no let up in development throughout that entire time. Nor, incredibly, has there been a change to a subscription model. This developer puts users first in a way that is very refreshing. I was compelled to write a review because I hadn’t been on his website in many years. Doing so tonight I discovered even more clever ways to optimize my phone calls. In particular how to manage multiple gvoice accounts from the app when I only have a single cell phone number, making it difficult to switch between gvoice accounts to, say, call in a pizza order without giving up my primary gvoice number. I’ve also become very sensitive to app data use disclosures and when comparing GV’s app disclosures in the App Store to goggle’s Voice app I thought to myself, “why would anyone use anything else?” Thank you for all you do GV team. Contributing to tip jar.

Literally does nothing
I used google voice daily at work. Thought this app would be great for some of the missing needed features. Mark messages as unread - add notes - etc. purchased the app and logged in… absolutely no changes. I have been using it for an hour now. No changes. Refund please?!?!
Notifications and contacts
Notifications do not happen. You have to randomly check the app to see about messages and missed calls. Also. when I add a new name for a number, it returns to the number after being saved. No names at all can be saved in this app. I do not want to merge my phone contact list with this phone number.
