Great app
I like seeing the character in many words as is done in the app. The pronunciation delivered audibly is also an excellent feature.
Great App
This is a great app that does much more than it says on the can. It provides useful information on the charaters I am learning. It is the first Chinese tutor I have found that lets me do useful learning while waiting for a train etc.
For those of us who discovered Chinese later in life, the font size and the Chinese character sizes are just a bit too small for our tired eyes to see without using the iPhone virtual magnifying glass (or a real one!).
Please add a section on measure words, which I find hard to remember.

Highly Recommended!
Not only does it help you with strokes but it gives character history and how it was derived which makes me think the Chinese characters are cuter and cuter! Highly Recommended!!!
Great for beginners
This is a great way to begin learning Chinese characters. It presents the characters slowly and explains each one. The free version offers a thorough intro and three substantial lessons.

It is a good apps to learn chinese.
It has sounds, origin of character & show how to write.
Bought the full version. However, about half the character does not have explanation & how to write. It will be appreciated if developer update it. At least adding how to write.
Overall it is a good apps. Please keep developing & upgrade.

Great app
Nice concept. Some strange freezes, but not to bad.
New update make it unusable in some modes
I had this app for a few months and it was good for my 5 years old to learn character stokes. But the new updates (nov 2011) makes it impossible to use if you are in the index mode looking for characters. It won't let you go back to the menu mode. I am just stuck now on index search. Also, even when it works, the way Characters are organized makes it painful to look for a word. It should be organized in such a way that you can search for words in both English or Chinese or by phonetic sound. As is, you have to guess if the world Age belongs to the category of human, family, or nature...

This app missed plenty of characters. Also, it is DEFINITELY not worth the time.

I wish it was free because some day I'm going to use it and this app has helped me so much. I want to thank you too. If it is possible PLEASE make the not free version free. Because out in the world people need to know chinese but they have know money. Please make a difference.
