Could be improved:
-it disconnects as soon as I switch to another app preventing me to monitor while doing something else.
-audio/network buffer too small at times and can not be customized.
-GUI is small (on Ipad)ve2shf
Poor administration
Great app but don't try to register a change of callsign or you'll get the administrator refusing point blank to help you validate it.
It's a shame a good product is let down by poor, inflexible and unfriendly administration.Jim, Clackton

Was a great program until the upgrade
Would be nice if they mentioned in the required OS was updated to 4.2 in the description instead of 4.0 as it currently shows. I updated and now do not have access to the application on my device any longer. Crashes every time I attempt to launch.Edmonton Fire Radio
speaker on iPhone?
Is this version supposed to work with the internal speaker of the iPhone or just the telephone ear piece?
I ask because I am unable to get the received audio to come from the speaker, I have to use the iPhone like a telephone as a result and the received audio is too low despite the volume being turned full up.
It would be great if the audio would come from the speaker instead of only the ear piece of the iPhone, but I can find no setting to switch between telephone earpiece and the iPhone's speaker.
The FAQ's on using the iPhone appears to suggest there is supposed to be an icon to the right of the volume bar in the QSO window, this icon does not exist. I assume this is due to my iPhone using version 5.01 operating system and Echolink 1.1 is no longer 100% compatible with the latest iPhone firmware update?
My iPhone is an iPhone 4, 32gb, operating system 5.01.
Help anyone?

Won't Setup
I'm having troubles trying to get echolink to allow my callsign to work through iPhone. I used to use my callsign on the local echolink outlet so maybe because it was used there I can't use that call on my iPhone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.WitchWeb
Needs a help or tutorial
This is a great app. Would give it 5 stars except that there is no help file or other instructions on how to use this app. I guess the author assumes you have used this on a PC, but for others who have never used EchoLink before, this app really needs a help file or a tutorial.Pilaar39
