  • Easy to use but limited

This app is easy to use but is frustrating for users in the UK. It does not have the common names of many British flowers, so using the search function frequently produces no results. (If you know the scientific name this is less of an issue.) There is little detailed information to help identify plants and there are only small number of photos relating to each plant. (Although the photos are of a good quality.)

  • Comprehensive, beautiful and it works in the field

I love this app. Not only is it easy to use when out and about but it is fun and informative to just browse in a spare moment.

The developer has now put out an even better Tree Guide which has multiple photos for each entry - closeups of leaves, fruit, flowers and bark. Could I suggest that this flower app could also do with more photos?

  • Wild Flowers

    First rate app.
  • A Real Treasure

What an app should be. It does its job for years without endless updates. It is easy to use. It has really good content: photos, distribution maps, habitat notes, flowering season etc. Top score for: amazing plant images; identification wizard; ability to swap languages between English, French and German to see the local names in other countries.

  • Excellent

An easy to use wizard which helps to identify the flowers. Information about each flower. An excellent and useful app.
  • Excellent user interface making I.D. Easy

Considering the lack of good ID apps this is a real trail blazer!! Great wizard which doesn't always work first time but that's my grasp of plant anatomy not the app not working! Would recommend to anyone just don't forget to take your Rose and Stace with you for back up!!
  • Very good and easy to use

This app makes it really easy to identify wild flowers - better than other apps I've tried. I am no expert but am rapidly becoming one!
  • Great app

Very detailed, with good illustrations of a wide range of wildflowers (many more than other apps available at the moment). I like the maps of where plants appear, as well as the conditions under which they grow. The search can be a bit difficult, but the way you can compare different plants of more-or-less the same characteristics is really helpful. The pictures are very clear and useable on the iPhone, which makes it nice and portable... Not so clear on the iPad, though (but then it's not make for that format).

  • Useful and very good value.

On holiday in France I found this wonderful to have to hand. I felt as if set loose with an eye spy book and happily found flowers new to me. The key helps and the various ways of searching are useful. Best of all I had this with me in the field and no heavy book to carry on a walking holiday . For me it was a treat, not perfect but great value and no extra carry cost. Most of the time I could identify the plants and if there was a difficulty with the names the Latin always helped.
I like being able to narrow down to a family and then a sub group of that family .

On return with photos and a rough idea of the plants group I then went to the Internet to finalize names but having this with me meant I was already half way there.

There are not many plant guides out there and for the price I found this both useful and a pleasure to have with me.

  • Great!

FANTASTIC app with many common species. The interface is easy to use. If you select by color only, it may or may not be the exact shade of the flower you are viewing so you'll have to add more search selections or scroll through all of the related shades. Please add more deceptive info and and easier way to see more pictures of each flower. And more species!!
