I really love this app. So quick and convenient. When you want to send a quick message and don't want to type, but it's not urgent enough to need to call. My only small criticism is I think the design could be improved a little, but I like the name and the mountain view when you open it!AM1258
The best thing ever!
I was bit dissapointed first that it was only voicemail, after using Whats up, but then it is great as you can hear the other person. I downloaded this as my sister lives in New Zealand and I am in UK. She travels around the world a lot so we are hey telling us very often. It is almost like she is here with me. So for me it is fabulous! Love it! No technical difficulties, clear information when the inbox is full atd...Show lessFaolanRoxy
the app is awesome!!...
this is just what i was looking for!!... as i seriously HATE talking on phones (doesn't matter who it is!), also don't even like real time text chatting neither... because i'd rather see the person in person if im going to be communicating with them in real time (it's just how it is for me)... so far, i have only got 3 buddy's from facebook that use this app (hoping to get more though)... as well as buy the folks an ipod touch, just so i can get them on board into using this app (that would be great!).. the only minor issue that i can think of right now is, there's no telling when your 30 second message recording counter is going to be up (unless your going to countdown the seconds in your head everytime, which is unlikely)... so may i suggest that you guys impelment either a 30 sec countdown timer while recording to let you know when your message is going to become cut off or a countdown status bar reminiscent of how the xbox 360 one is, as it does it's private voice messaging... would recommend you guys place it in the middle of the screen just below the recording image and above the To: "persons name" box (small and simple, as that would work great!)... other than that, this is a great app!!... and i can't wait to hopefully use it with all of my pals!... cheers!... :o)Show lesstrackman06
Love hey tell
Love hey tell just wish when the ringtone comes through just wish there was a light flash to let u know incase u have missed the message. Otherwise the message could be sitting there for while till u look at your phone to c it. Plz fix this glitch sometimes Heytell works sometimes it doesn't it was much better before I think the update ever since then it doesn't always work. I love this app cannot be without it saves texting especially for people a bit older who can't c properly or be bothered to text when u can talk quickly and easily.

Group chats as conversations!!
Great App, but is there a reason why chats are not grouped together in conversations like virtually every other message service out there?
It would make it much easier to sort and I would argue more popular.
Gmail group emails into conversations, IOS messages does it, why not HeyTell?
I think when a better App comes along with this feature and group messages, HeyTell will disappear.

Brilliant App
Such a time saver, I love that I don't have to type every little message. I have put so many friends & family on to it. ONLY thing I would like to see in an update is a function to select more than one recording at a time to delete. Multiple select for deleting. Or have it Automatically hi lite the next message, so one has the option to select delete. It's a terrific app & I probably use it 10 times a day. Keep up the good work & Thanks for providing such a handy app. Smart Phones, text & chat are the way of the future, this app keeps us up with the technology & in the now.Show less55Gerbera

I use this for a bit of fun with my son. I
Occasionally use it with my friends for a chat if the conversation is informal. If there is distance between you and the other user there is a slight delay with waiting for a message so if you are far away a conversation can take a bit of time.Carolyn1703
