  • 'Appily jamming

Struggling with the technical stuff a bit but loving the new ideas, and improving from a low base - so must be good. More jamtracks please!
  • Wow!

This is a pretty good app. It's handy and easy to use. I shall get a lot of use out of this. Hopefully there's more to come.
  • Great app with lots of variety

I really like this app for all the varied things it provides to help build your skills. The lessons are great--you hear, you see it, you play it! The videos load fast, are short and contain great information. I have no problems with it crashing. It will be at my side during practice sessions.
  • The most effective guitar app so far for me

I've tried many apps before. I've been very impressed with this app so far. In addition to the lick and riff library, utilities, exercises and scale library are pretty good too. It's really worth it.
  • Not bad

The app is polished and has some quality learning material. I was hoping to be able to play the jam tracks then pull up a scale chart and use it to help me learn to solo. The jam tracks even tell you which scale would be best for soloing, so why not let us pull it up and see it? Alas, you can't do both at the same time. This limits its usefulness for me. Add this feature and I'll upgrade my review to 5 stars.

  • seamustasmania

I was looking for an app that offered value and the chance to do some serious work to improve my own playing. and boy does this app satisfy. An absolute cracker of a application it has everything. Just the Tuner alone is worth the price.. Add the multiple other options and I reckon you need never buy any other app to improve your playing. Lessons, tuner, jam tracks. chord charts (including sound) even a metronome make this a must have app...eleven out of ten

  • Best guitar app I've seen

I got this off Promo Dispenser to see if it was any good and wow. You don't need to have very much experience to be able to benefit from JamPlay. Scales, chords, metronome, tuner and lots of video to see what's what. The videos are kept at the site so it doesn't take much space but you need wifi to get to it. Hope to see more videos in future updates.

  • Useful App and well done

I had my doubts when I downloaded the app but every doubt was wiped away after I used the app a couple of times. The guitar tuner or the metronome alone are worth the price of admission. The chord library is far more extensive than I ever expected and more extensive than I'll probably use but its an easy to use reference. The biggest surprise was the "jamtracks" which are really handy to learn to improvise with in a myriad of different styles. Not as good as having the instructor or another player with you but incredibly handy to use for accompaniment to try out an idea. The scale library and the exercise library are also really useful and well done. About the only criticism I could offer is I'd like to see the chord library arranged a bit differently but it works very well as it is and that would just be a tweek to suit my style.

  • Amazing!

A great app for a great price! I was pleasantly surprised to see an app with a very large amount of content.....I especially like the scale library. I can put it on repeat and keep practicing my scales over and over until I get them perfect. The tuner is spot on...really cool..I can't get enough of this app. It's an all-in-one toolkit. Great selection in the chord library too...just really really neat.

  • Great Guitar App!

Everything works really well, and anyone that belongs to JamPlay knows these guys don't mess around.

This version already has more on the lessons side than any of the other apps, on top of the standard features like the built-in tuner and chord charts.

I'm sure future updates will make this even better, but it's already replaced my other guitar apps.
