Works well but needs user friendly features

This is a great app as it is, but it could be so much better. If they added the ability to set a country you wouldn't have to wade through shows you can never watch. Also the ability to choose a time zone would be greatly appreciated. You can set a plus/minus number of hours, but -5 hours was not enough to get U.S. Eastern standard time. Please add the ability to send an entire season to your calendar at once. It is quite tedious to add your shows to your calendar one episode at a time and then to have to change the time for each after they are in the calendar makes a great idea hard to love.

I believe this app has incredible potential if the developer can add filters and a better calendar interface.

Very good but some synopsis missing

Lots of shows on there but there are a few without a synopsis so you may need to look at another source to find out some episode details.

Also, it updates every time you open the app which takes longer the more shows you've saved (**UPDATE** Latest version resolves this & it's much quicker to open). Would be good to have a feature where you can decide which shows and when to update.

Muchbetter

Bug fixed. Very happy!

Great app. Use it all the time. However Today's update has duplicated entire episodes and series. I even deleted a show that had a duplicate series only to find after I added it again that there were three entire series 1s listed again.

Great app but a few issues

Love the app. Basically does what I want it to do... Track the shows I watch. However, the start up is horrendous. Especially if you track alot of shows. It takes forever. 5 mins for an app to start is bad. Also, I love the show list. Great way to go thru shows to find what you want. However it's so long that it would be nice to have the option of what to show in the list. For example, only US show or only canadian shows or british shows, etc. Also have option to only show current shows or even only canceled/ended shows. Additionally having someplace to view upcoming shows i.e. Pilots. And finally it would be nice to have a tab for current news related to my shows. Cancellations. Or actor related news. Stuff like that.

I gave the new update. Runs MUCH faster. Great improvement. Only problem now is that I'm not getting any show updates. Even though I'm marking off shows as watched on a daily basis, in the My Shows view all shows still have the date from 2 weeks ago. Also when I click on show info the app crashes.
Only other downside. I had to delete all my shows to upgrade to the last update. 2 hours of work. Hopefully that won't be the case with next update. If it is I'll just quit this app.

I watch a lot of TV

I watch a lot of TV series but never on the original air dates so its very hard to keep track of what I have or have not seen. Therefor I have been trying to find something to help, computer software, desktop widgets and other mutiple other iPhone apps all to absolutly no avail. I mean really how hard was it to make a app with this simple function! It was getting to a point where I was pricing a Apple Computer so i could teach myself the iPhone SDK and create an app myself. Then I found Episoder and it is exactley what I was looking for and in fact almost identical to the design I was working on. Danny Grob proves that at least some of the people out there that know how to program apps should in fact be programing them.

Good for people who follow a lot of shows

Great app if you have a lot of shows that you watch and want to keep track of what episodes you have seen. My one complaint is that I would like to turn off automatic update so If I missed a day I could check the previous days shows before I look at todays shows.

Last Update no good

This was working great for me, now this last update has removed some good features it had before. Updates should make the application better not worse. Now when you open up the My Shows pages, some of the current episode dates do not show up so you have to go into each individual show to see when the next episode is on

Works for some but not all

UPDATE: Sometimes this app works sometimes it does not. Sometimes the load times are so long I just give up. I'm now using iTv shows to keep track of my shows. However that is a paid app.

This app is free so try it. It might work of you. When it's working the app does what it says. It's a great way to track which episodes you have seen and which ones you have not.

Awesome app at awesome price of FREE :)

I am a TV junkie... And this app makes it sooooo easy to track what is coming and the schedule etc. Plus it's simple and easy to use...

Some improvements to be made could be:
1) to arrange shows date wise and give option to arrange ascending and descending wise.
2) to allow for us to rate and discuss the episode and rank it so that we can share our feedback and sync with some global database.

Lame. Don't get it.

It takes forever to load, and it only has the US and UK schedules. Don't get it if you live in Canada. It won't help you at all.
