Nice quick game! Not gonna buy too many more expansions unless it’s the underworld.
Great game, AI needs options
The current AI still as of July 2024 makes terrible choices in every way, from conquests to decline. The AI even somehow fails to attack with ghouls before going in decline with the active race, which the timing rules shouldn’t allow. On another session the AI went in decline in the bottom of the final round for no benefit. The AI leaves singleton units exposed to the Sorcerers, and the AI doesn’t properly redeploy to attack from a new area when cornered. Maybe it’s for the best that the AI doesn’t have a Smart Mode so that I don’t play more often. I download this from the cloud to remind myself why I only play with human opponents. Kudos to the design team for so many great features, though.

Dove not working
Why can I use the dove in the game ? I can’t put it anywhere …
Can’t login, play online, or find friends
I can play against the AI opponent in “solo” mode. But the whole purpose for my download was to play with friends.
When i tap “login” it just says authenticating forever and nothing happens. Trying to play online shows nothing and half the time doesn’t actually do anything. Not sure how to “find buddies” if no one can login.
Such a great game but really really terrible app.

Authenticating
Not sure what happened or why, been playing the game for years and all of a sudden I can’t play anymore because the game just shoots me in an authenticating loop. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game I’ve tried different devices and it dropped This authenticating problem on me in the middle of a game with buddies. Would’ve given us five stars but I am absolutely frustrated beyond belief that there is nowhere to find help to get this fixed

Scoring Miss?
We love this game. Only catch, sometimes we notice the score isn’t adding up coins properly on the last turn. Brutal since sometimes it’s the last few coins that make the difference.

Game Authorisation Issue
The game will not complete authorisation and does not load with friends.
A bit fiddly
A good game well implemented, but can be a bit fiddly when playing on a phone. The pc version is just that bit clearer.
Authenticating Issues
Small World is a mostly solid implementation of a great board game, but of late it has become somewhat glitchy. At present, I cannot play online games because it is stuck in a continual “Authenticating” loop (note that the Steam version still appears to be working, so this problem seems iOS specific). The problem has persisted for several days now. I have also had recent problems where an active game disappears from the list, or a previous game turn reappears. I love the game, but these issues are becoming rather frustrating. Update: The glitch was fixed, but not for long. It’s back and as frustrating as ever! I’d love to actually be able to play the game I paid for. Very disappointing lack of customer service by the developer.

Enjoying this and new to the game
I’m playing this on phone and it works good for the most part - it’s stable etc. One big flaw I’m running into is that there is no undo button. I have had most of my games ruined already because of little accidental bumps to end turn etc and no way to reverse that action. The buttons are extremely close to each other and it’s easy to hit the wrong button by mistake. That reverse decision feature would make it so much better. Other than that it’s fun.
