  • Terrible game with zero strategy thanks to developer

It’s clear that the developer does not have a full understanding of pinochle. Why would you pass your partner two diamond jacks when you have a run in spades with 2 queens? After all, isn’t the name of the game pinochle? Also, why does my “partner” consistently lead with tens when the aces have not been played? If you enjoy pinochle and know how to play the game I would not recommend buying this game. Even if they dropped the price I still would not recommend this game.

  • Nice!

Of all the card games I've played (aside from Snoopy), I enjoy pinochle the most. Thanks for this enjoyable game.
I do wish there was a way, having exhausted everybody else's trump, to throw in all your trump in at once: playing every single card at hand is a little monotonous, but that's 'official,' I guess.

  • Fun and fast!

I had forgotten all about Pinochle since no one I know plays. I learned from my parents when I was 10 or so. One thing I remember is the option to "shoot the moon" for 1500 points if you thought you could take every trick. Not sure if that was a real rule or just one in our family. It was fun regardless. I love how fast the game moves. One suggestion I have is to have the cards in your hand separate black suits and red suits. For instance all your red hearts, then black spades, then red diamonds, then black clubs.

  • Nice game

I'm having a lot of fun with this game. I learned how to play and it seems to be pretty good AI competition for now.

Two flaws. AI does not keep a trump to make sure it can take the last trick for the bonus and got set more than once because of that. I also think it should auto play singletons for me when necessary and especially on the last card.

  • Pinochle

This is an exciting game. I like the speed you can quickly play and the display is attractive and easy to view and use. However, my partner always throws away his aces when I am leading and he has backup cards. Also, the games allows players to not trump if they don't have the suit being led or not made to beat with a higher card or trump. Very frustrating but the rest of the game is great. If these errors are corrected, your game would be 5 stars.

  • Trump rules changed again

I've played about thousand games of Pinocle with this app, I don't play much else except Tetris to pass idle moments. I do enjoy it overall, and also agree with most of the negative reviews. After a while it's easy to predict what your partner will play though it's often nonsensical. I rarely yield the bid to my partner, and it's best to be aggressive in bidding. My main complaint lately is that the game forces you to use trump if you can't play the given suit. I like to yield to my partner in the middle of the hand to allow him to play his Aces. It's disruptive if I can't throw some trash down and must pick up with trump.

  • Decent single player, but could be better

I do not play the multiplayer, just single. The computer AI is decent, but has flaws like other reviewers have listed. However the price is right and it allows me to play the game when no one else is around.
  • Pinochle

In the past I have liked playing with this app.
Lately it has been bidding very high, 800, With very little meld, when it was not even needed to bid at all to meld out.
Also when passing meld (4cards) I will pass the bidder two Jack's of diamonds, or two queens of spades, and they will return what they would need to make double pinochle, and then not have enough meld to make their bid. I am disgusted with the app, and will use it until these flowers are fixed.

  • Single or Double Deck Here

Plays a really good game whether you like playing with either single or double decks, easy medium or hard, and using high or minimal scoring techniques. Upgrade really worth it.
Two variances from our rules - Trump does not have to lead here and all suites are strictly enforced to beat the played cards, not just Trump

  • Like it

Not the rules I learned to play but very close and fun

The recent update has left a few things that are undesirable and taking away things that I enjoyed. The most glaring problem is that your partner doesn't seem to understand the basic rules of the game. When you lead an ace he will throw an ace instead of a king or 10 which would be more appropriate
