Not sure why others are unhappy but as an avid team pinochle player back in the day this version is excellent also no bugs on my IPad Air just sayin

A waste of money
The bidding, the passing is horrible! My "partner" makes impossible bids (even out bids me) then passes me 1/2 of a run while holding on to the other half or passes 2 Aces it needs for 100 Aces. It is obvious that whomever programmed the game has never played. Don't waste your money. My partner also passes either the 2J of diamonds or the 2Q of spades needed for double pinochle while holding on to 2J/2Q respectively. Very annoying!!!Show lessHddathvxdjihgfdfgczshgf
Frustrated
I quit playing the passing game because the passed cards were so wrong. Now I'm just frustrated with the whole game in general. I just played two games and neither my partner nor I had a decent hand the whole two games but the computer partners had either a run, a hundred aces, double pinochle or some other mit-full of meld even when it was dumped. Gameplay just okay, maybe bugs
Bugs: Achievements do not work. Real disappointment. Pretty sure that on some occasions, the player who takes a trick is not the one who won it (trump is ignored by the game), though this is rare.
'Hard' difficulty seems to mean 'incompetent partner.' Partner, when winning the bid and calling clubs/hearts, doesn't have the sense to pass back two legs of Pinochle to the player who's holding diamonds/spades.
Sloppy AI and bugs...but just about the only good option for free.Show lessRollyBenden
Fix Passing Algorithm
My partner shouldn't be passing me junk when he's keeping aces, especially if he doesn't know when to play them.
Also it drives me crazy when my partner takes bid and places aces and tens of other suits before playing his available winning trump (ie AS, AS, AD, AD, 10S when spades is trump). Algorithm should say play sure wins before probable wins, even if sure win is a 9 and probable win is an ace (although it wouldn't kill him to save a trump card for last trick...).

This is not how you play Pinochle!
The update was atrocious! Passing of cards does not make sense. Playing a 10 card to flush out the Ace is stupid. I just played a game where my partner called Spades trump and then passed me back 2 Jack of Diamonds when he had 2 Queen of Spades! Are you kidding me? On top of that he kept 4 loser cards including a King and 10 of Diamonds. Crazy! Why play this game when strategy is no longer involved and you end up being frustrated and trying to figure out what nonsensical move your partner is going to do next! Questionable
I am a very experienced pinochle player and find the strategy very questionable. The app crashes continually, sometimes fatal as one player has too many cards. Save your money!BlairBear22
