Perfect free app for quick brainstorming
This is a great free app to test out the possibilities of Popplet! It is super easy to use and extremely intuitive. The addition of emailing a jpeg is pretty handy; now I can take a look at my board on my iPhone as well. Okay, but beta in quality
I resonate with many reviews already. I used this to take notes in a meeting today, with mixed success. On the one hand, it worked. On the other hand, I can't get the content out, and even with screen grabs it would be ineffective as it's too big. It also became sluggish as the number of notes grew. Once cluttered, it became hard to reorganize things. It would be nice to support bulk moving, as well as how it was hard to find background space to tap to move the background. But more than anything, I really would like some kind of sync to an app so I can move it to the desktop to interact with.Show lessMCSaavedra

Perfect app for a student
I'm absolutely loving Popplet, and can't wait for the full version. It's fantastic for taking notes and even for design layouts in my web development classes. Great start!
This is a great preview for what promises to be a very useful app. As an educator, I can see this being used as both a planner and visualizer. With the addition of text on the links, it would be a superb (and portable) concept mapping tool.

Beauty in simplicity
This is my first mind mapping app, as I've historically only used list-type apps. I love the visual experience that mind-mapping apps allow for, and this one has the extra-added benefit of being very aesthetically pleasing from a design perspective. The interface is extremely intuitive, and the ability to manipulate the orientation of the popplets with such ease shows that a considerable amount of thought went into maximizing the iPad user experience.
The one thing I think would really add to the interface functionality would be the ability to select multiple popplets and move them all at once, similar to other process-mapping type applications. Once that can be done, this app would be perfect! But even then, it's so well executed that I have given it five stars.Show lessJemmyemmy
As close to iPad "killer app" as I've found
So I've generally feel that my iPad is just an oversized iPhone that fills no real gap. This application is at last an example of a developer designing an app for the ipad as opposed to simply making an iPhone app bigger.
A bit unstable at the moment, quit every now and then and relaunch the app to ensure you don't lose your work (hopefully this update fixes this). The second the developer brings out a full version I'm buying it.Show lessRich...!

Simply genius. This app is wonderful for the whole family whether it be brainstorming for business or putting together a character study for a school assignment. The project ideas are endless.

Can't wait for the export
GREAT App! Was able to WOW everyone in a Director's Meeting with an immediate graphic for our new reporting structure until I realized that there was no way to share it with them (other than passing around the IPad)... Would have been awesome to have been able to email a PDF of the board! I will continue to use it, however, I hope that the paid version will have a way to share/export the boards. Easy to use, looks great. Can't wait for the full version. Hopefully we'll be able to send our notes via e.mail as I would def. Use this as way of sharing ideas with my office.. Go try it out!Just-Jolo
