Does exactly what it says on the tin
Wanted something to do the basics on my Mac Mini and iMac whilst sitting in front of the TV and searched for various free bits of software and opted for this.
Did exactly what was needed but there were a few keyboard commands missing in the free version to enable me to do a few extra more complicated bits so ended up upgrading to the full pro version. More than happy as I can now do everything I need to do from my iPad. Mainly used for managing/backing up iTunes media content for our server for our Apple TVs, and saving and backing up photos.
There are a few minor things that need sorting to make it perfect.
- would like keyboard to auto appear when pressing a text field
- would be useful if the shift button would switch off after the initial capital letter has been typed.
- finding it hard to drag and drop anything, I'm sure there must be a way but haven't found it yet.

Got it to work perfectly with iPod 4G and iPhone 4S to-LAN and over any Wi-Fi anywhere to my home iMac and Windows PC! TIP: Don't buy Pro version until you get free version to work. Buying Pro version will NOT fix installation problems. Go to Hanamobiles' forum for installation help before buying Pro version. Once you have it working then I highly encourage getting PRO version for its versatility and ability to add multiple Servers. This is definitely a 5-Star app!

I've never really got into the apple products or software before, but now I have a family of products I've decided to see what they can all do, this product is a fantastic free app that let's you do the basics from your other iOS devices in my case the nu ipad mini,(I can't see the point having it on the iPhone) I was amazed it does what it says on the tin FOR FREE!!!!
I'm only giving it 3 stars however for the terrible lag it has, as a basis to keep an eye on stuff whilst you are away it's great, for working with seamlessly for long periods of time forget it...
Apps on the mac [i played angry birds from space] can be used on the ipad through this app however NO SOUND is transmitted and the screen doesn't fit properly. All though it looks nice it's a little impractical.
I'd suggest to get splash top 2 if you plan to actually use this with out wanting to throw your ipad through your mac or tv, as splash top 2 plays sound and is full screen and full accessibility and looks EXACTLY as it appears on the mac. It took me forever to find an app like this because all I kept getting in my search were apps to see my phone screen on my mac - what's the purpose of that?? Chances are that if you are at your mac, your phone is within arms reach anyway! But I digress. All I wanted to do was see my mac screen while I was downstairs so I could check on render times while watching tv. This app works perfectly for me. Not perfect but it does the job.
I've not had my Mac Mini for long, so I'm no expert but it works perfectly well for me.
The ability to zoom the screen in and out makes life considerably easier.
Doing stuff like Xcode is tough because of the need to drag and drop across the entire screen but I'm sure I'll get the hang of it.
The only reason it doesn't get the fifth star from me, is the aspect ratio appears to reflect the selected screen resolution on the Mac, (currently set for a wide screen display,) which means I waste valuable screen space when viewing the full width.Show lessAaaaaaaargh

I have used this app for several months now and it does absolutely everything without a flaw. This puts every other VNC client to shame; and I have used dozens over the years. It has never crashed on me. Every feature I can imagine is implemented in a very intuitive way. All I can say is "awesome"!jslangster

Brief:
Highly recommended. This app connected to my Mac Server (Snow Leopard) on a local network immediately once the correct settings were entered. No additional software required to be installed on my Server. It just works as Apple intended. I have now upgraded to Pro Version.
Don't Expect The Following (And you shouldn't Really):
Audio. This is a visual only app. Which is fine by me.
Jitter Free HD Movie Viewing. And why would you?
