Too many steps now
I have used this app since the beginning and have always loved it. This is the first time I have not given it 5 stars. I used to use the app and made everyone buy the app since it kept photos in order when sending. It also sends large videos. But the app is used less now since Airdrop has gotten better. When Apple added the sender’s name in messages when someone sends you a photo, I hated having the name there. It’s ridiculous. So I use Transfer to share photos between my devices and it removes the name from the photo or video. But as the app has been updated, they keep adding more and more steps to transfer. I just moved 10 photos, one at a time, and it was ridiculously long. Why is it necessary to have send now and receive now for every transfer? This app used to be so much more intuitive and quicker. Just an fyi, the only thing they do for support is provide how-to videos. They have fake emails set up for suppport and do not answer them at all.Took away features

Best for transferring photos. Can be used cross platform. Well worth the lifetime upgrade. Upgrades transfers better and higher qualityandrewmurrayhq

Having used this Photo Transfer App for a while I have always been impressed with the ease with which photos can be transferred to my PC / NAS storage and back to my iPhone when needed. The app maintains the Albums you have carefully curated and cleverly avoids backing up duplicate photos even if you copy over a whole Album multiple times just to backup the newly added photos.
It is also very easy to copy an Album of photos across to another iPhone running the same App.
Support responded immediately to an email query I had about family sharing and sent clear instructions how to resolve the issue within the hour!
All in all very impressed with both the functions of the app and the level of support service. Thank you.Show lessM's buzz

Own the version which allows you to download full-size images. The app works fantastic. I ended up starting with this because of the PITA transferring files between an iPhone and a Windows computer. The only reason I gave this a four star not five is because a couple of times it gave me a bit of grief Connecting. It is so rare that it’s barely worth mentioning. The interface is super basic and is used because it’s intuitive. It’s low priced and a good value. I like supporting people who write effective and simple apps that make my life a little easier.Show lesssyazoo

Great App, new version is not working anymore, it used to be so easy, now it’s not connecting, I tried everything but it’s not connecting, both devices are recognized after I push the send button, nothing happens, it really sucks, I had the app for yearsMaxi/Dagmar

When several attempts to get my photos off my iPhone failed after spending hours trying with Faststone, Windows, PhotoScan and Simple Transfer, I remembered using Photo Transfer a few years ago. I redownload the app and installed the compliment app on my Windows PC. Like magic it downloaded 100 photos at a time in full res, very easy to use and a big improvement over the version I was using years ago. Well done PhotoTransfer!
