Just what I wanted
I decided to start a personal journal to record my experience during lockdown and COVID-19.
It is elegant and easy to use. That elegance however some times hides features. It took me a while to work out how to create an entry for the previous day. A quick google and all was revealed it was straight forward but not initially obvious. Thought about giving it a 4 star for that but in the end decided the elegance won out.

Just what I've been looking for
I used Maxjournal since 2015, keeping my diary every day. When I got my new iPad Maxjournal was no longer in operation. I searched for months then found Chronicle, hurrah! A fabulous replacement to Maxjournal, a few more bells and whistles for me e.g. picture embedding, different fonts, clearly laid out, I love it!
My only niggle is there is no import facility, I messaged Steve but had no reply 😢Show lessJChriston
It’s my journal!
Chronical gives me a private place to keep a journal. It’s a place where I can argue with myself and/or God. Sometimes I start to write with no idea of what to say and end up with a very long discussion with myself as if I’m having a conversation with someone. As a retired person, I find this app to be very helpful in maintaining whatever thought process I had before retirement. Even if I have nothing to say, I have a place to say it! One suggestion I would make is give us improved printing options. As it is, I can print one entry at a time.Show lessEtb9298

Just what I was looking for.
I was looking for something to log my thoughts into and this app is perfect. The dates and times of the entries can be changed so you can be flexible with your writing. I also bought the "notes" add on which is great for me as I love lists. Couldn't recommend it more! It also locks (when activated) as soon as you leave the app if privacy is important to you. Keeps me Focused and Organized
I have just downloaded the app and have been working with it for a couple of months. Easy to use, update and back-up. I especially appreciate the ability to add photos. I am delighted that I found this app!ClanPaxton
Digital thought and experience logging.
I am relatively new to “writing” on an electronic device. I always felt like it wouldn’t have the same effect as journaling in a paper book and being able to actually SEE the words in my own handwriting, with all of the character that comes with any individuals style of writing. I have enjoyed Chronicle a great deal though. The option of different fonts and being able to add a picture, meme, or whatever you like makes up for a lot of the “coldness” of the screen, for lack of a better word, as well as all of the other options that are offered.

How can I?
I use this app for my diaries of holidays etc however I would be interested to know how I can transfer from my IPad to Laptop as I would like to include my diary notes combining them with photos.
