Price History of RPN Calculus

Description of RPN Calculus

RPN Calculus is a scientific RPN Calculator for the Apple iPad. RPN Calculus provides basic arithmetic operations as well as advanced mathematic operations like trigonometric, hyperbolic or logarithmic functions. The calculator app provides an unlimited, well, limited by system resources, amount of memory space for values. RPN Calculus performs calculations with a precision of up to 15 digits and supports a number range from -1E127 to 1E127. It's smallest presentable number is 1E-128. RPN Calculus offers a clean and simple layout, very common if you have used scientific RPN calculators before. RPN Calculus has a build in constant values database. The database contains over 120 scientific constants of different categories like e.g. Mathematics, Physics or Astronomy. Since the constants database is user extendable, you can add constant values that you are may be missing in the default set of constants. RPN Calculus can print out your values on the stack and the memory.

Reviews of RPN Calculus

Clean and Simple

This is a great App. It is well layed out with all 'common' function keys well located. Can't work out how to change the display from Scientific notation but there must be a way. I wish there was an equivalent for iPhone, it would replace the 42Free App that I have at present. Haven't given it a lot of use but so far so good!

Very good

This is the best RPN calculator available in APP Store. Very clean, easy to use and with 5 row stack. This is not 5 stars because I would like the keyboard keys were a little bit smaller and the display a little bit larger (with larger numbers).
If there were a Solver it would be perfect.

Elegant

Calculators are a crowded field. This is a very clean, elegant example; I keep it around with PCalc, which has the advantage of running on iPhone and in portrait mode on iPad.

The new color scheme is IMO a small step backward. Could we please have a setting for the original one? Or perhaps a compromise: the new scheme, but color-on-gray for the red & blue keys; they're just a little too up-front.
