Edit Dec 24th, 2024 Just updated and received a notice that the free tier is ending support. Been a listener for 17-18 yrs now. Sad to see yet another subscription based only app.
Been listening to Di.fm on and off for over a decade now. My one suggestion would be an AppleTV app. That would make life so much better.
Edit: Thank you for the suggestion. I have the 4k AppleTV. I might try out the work around in the new year.

Thanks for reaching out.
We added your voice to the native Apple TV app suggestion.
Unfortunately, we do not have a native Apple TV app yet, it's under development. For now, you can stream on Apple TV via AirPlay.
The other option is to stream our Premium channel URLs on the latest (4th gen.) Apple TV devices via the VLC app.
You would need to set up the URLs manually to VLC after installing the app.
First of all head over to https://www.di.fm/settings and select 'Hardware Players' - ensure that the quality is set to 'Excellent 256k MP3'.
Each channel will have a unique tune-in URL that you can add.
The other Apple TV devices do not support our premium service directly - you'd need to stream from another device such as an iPhone or a Mac/PC with iTunes and use AirPlay to send the audio to the Apple TV.
The first generation (silver) Apple TV can access iTunes playlists to stream premium channels directly.
