Too difficult
I grabbed this game on day one after being completely "hooked" on Hook Champ. But what I've found is that while this game keeps the same basic mechanics as Hook Champ, the fun is gone. The charm that made Hook Champ so fun and witty is completely gone, and the levels are so difficult that I'm finding it impossible to enjoy playing in the later levels. Instead of a fun game it becomes a game so frustrating that I give up. It's a shame because it held such potential... And the underlying engine is still there, just with the fun extracted and some frustration added in it's place. Fingers crossed for the next game?Show lessLululamo
Retro awesomeness
I must I didn't get it at first, but after a short time playing I started to appreciate the retro charm of the aesthetics and gameplay.
There's plenty of replay value due to all of the Easter eggs and hidden paths, and some of the later levels possess some of the most fiendish design I've seen since the SNES/Megadrive (even the Amiga!) days.
In short, it's awesome. If you loved the classic platformers of the early 90s, you should already have it.

I loved Hook Champ and when I saw you had made Super Quick Hook, I was just BUSTING to get it. I loved the artwork of both games, and they were so simple yet complex. I didn't like the look of Zombiegame, but congrats on the rest! Please make more games like HC and SQH!Dav1d02
The sequel is even better
I loved hook champ and invested a good 20 hours into it, and I'm on track to put even more into superquick hook. It's easy enough to get good and beat a few levels, but it takes some serious skill to beat developer times and get all te collectables. It's just alot of fun with great replay value. Fantastic game, I would love to see additional levels and upgrades with future updates. But as it stands, 10/10Show lessM.G obbo
Fantastic game
This is by far the best, and most addictive, game on my iPhone. I absolutely LOVE it. It's probably one of my favorite games of all time, on ANY console. So yeah, buy it.Blackmacros
Witty dialogue and addictive gameplay

Faster Respawn plz
This is my favourite game on my iPod at the moment but when you die to the spikes (which happens a lot) it takes a good 5+ seconds to respawn, which is a long time in such an action packed game such as this one, please could you speed up the respawn in a later update. Awesome!
This game is awesome :D I bought it, having not played Hook Champ before, and it was absolutely worth it. THe physics are great, not to mention the graphics are crisp, and theres no lag in sight. The levels are well set out, and I absolutely love avalanche!
There heaps of hats to choose from, and hooks as well as other accessories. Also, Kepa, the developer has said in the next big update, you can get DLC characters like Jake from Hook Champ!!! By the way, I ended up buying HookChamp because of this game. Just buy it, it's cheaper then Macca's.. Haha

The game that keeps on giving...
Over 8 new levels since it came out not long ago. The developers actually update this game for free instead of making us pay for new levels. Great game, great developers.AussieHawk93
Top notch winning streak
As with their previous game, Hook Champ, rocket cat have delivered an enticing experience that has far more depth and life than first appearances would reveal. With unlockables galore and different medals to win, this game can be as light or long lasting as you want it to be, with a charming "just one more" factor that keeps you reaching for this app more often than is healthy.
