What?
This is a really good game, like REALLY good,
but as soon as I finished ember march there were no new levels unlocked, i clicked on deadman's path and it said avalanch 2000. I am not sure what it means, but i just CAN'T seem to get that score, please update and make easier!
Also, please can you also make superquackhook cheaper, all the other characters are 59p but he is 1.19! I just don't think that it is worth that and if you cranked the price down more people would buy it!Show lessCookiesrule

Better In Every Way
This game improves on hook champ in every way. It looks and plays great and it even runs more smoothly then it's predecessor on my first gen ipod touch. 5 stars well deserved.Richiepoos
A new classic
Really great, well polished game. Great value as there are loads of levels and they get very challenging. Brilliant retro feel.
Only issue is, that either since the last update (with volcano mode) or the last iOS update (4.1) the game completely relaunches each time you open the app. Whereas before you could leave the app during a level and come back to it.Show lessNickels64
Amazing
Well worth the £1.79, even if the price was twice this, the game would be incredibly good value. Tons of enjoyable gameplay, that leaves you picking up and playing, whenever you have a couple of spare minutes.
Combines the gameplay of original Sonic and Spiderman, with RPG elements. Great fun and very addictive, I think this game has forced me to buy the prequel too - Hook Champ.
Just don't judge the game on visuals (I actually find them really quirky) otherwise you could miss out on such a great game of the highest quality...
EDIT:: Prince_of_Persia, the D-Pad on the right is designed to make playing MUCH easier - seeing as you'll be travelling that way for the majority of the game, it makes sense to put the D-Pad there for ease of use. If you're still not satisfied, you can change the controls in the settings.
EDIT v2:: Still an amazing game, has not lost any replayability and the developer updates and content is very much appreciated. Gotta say, the new levels are insane and very difficult, but completing them is very satisfying and rewarding. I've also bought Hook Champ and that's just as good as this. Fantastic game
I've been wanting to play this game for a while now but wasn't sure if it would be worth the money. I needn't have worried! It's a fantastic game and well worth it's price.
The only problem I have (aside from getting nothing else done now) is that my high scores often don't update when I beat them. It's a little frustrating, especially when I've beaten my score on Avalanche mode only to find that it hasn't updated! Anyone else having this problem?Show lessLovelykatherine

Good stuff
There is easily a couple hours of fun here, clearing all the levels and earning all the upgrades. After that there is the endless avalanche mode to keep you going.London Massive
