Christian's Guide to Compatible Movies
Like they say, "Garbage in, garbage out." Because I am concerned about what my children (and I) take in, I check Movieguide anytime there's a new film out. Thank you, Movieguide!
Great app!
I've used the MG website for some time and found it to be useful in deciding which movies I would or would not watch. Now I have it on my pad and I use it whenever a new movie arrives in theaters. I've had to walk out of movies because the content wasn't acceptable to me. Now I simply check out the "in theater" reviews and make my choice. If you have children, are a Christian, or you are one that doesn't like to watch some of trash that Hollywood brings out, "THIS APP's FOR YOU!"

As a Christian husband and father of four who tires of wondering what offensive "surprises" Hollywood has cooked up for my family, I find this an invaluable resource. It's truly a tool that allows one to prayerfully decide one's level of immersion in the culture. Bravo

Pretty Good!!
Had been looking for such an app for awhile which gives reviews from a Christian perspective, so was happy to finally find this app. My only suggestion for improvement is to add more movies to the dB. I've searched for a review in this app on several movies I've seen on TV in the listings, only to find that the movies are not in this database. These were not made-for-TV movies, but others.

I'll pay for that!
I have used this quite a bit in the Lite version and it has not let me down as of yet. In fact, I took my 3 3/4 years old son to his first movie yesterday! Thanks to this app it was a perfect fit!!!! I have children that are frighten by MOST "children" movies including Disney. This was great, he loved it and asked for another mommy movie date! May God continue to Bless this Ministry!
