  • Reeeeeally bad app

I'm actually surprised how bad this app is. It crashes at least a couple times every 10 minutes. You can't search on usernames. When you follow contributors, it forgets. You can't view collections by user. I downloaded this app a while ago then deleted it for the above reasons. Having recently updated my iPad to the latest software I thought I'd give it another go. Just as bad. Don't waste your time.

  • No good

This app is pointless. You click on the light boxes and it lists nothing when you have over a dozen of them. Unfortunately this app needs a lot of work and is not ready to be rolled out. They should investigate. Until then stick to using your web browser on your computer for this program.
  • In maintenance mode

Useless... Has been in maintenance mode for months... No access...
  • Useless

Doesn't work. In maintenance mode for the last 2 weeks.
  • Undeliverable

Does not allow you to track your earnings as does the Dreamstime app. Email to the feedback address provided bounces back as undeliverable.
  • Login is broken

I've downloaded and tried to log into this app multiple times. It rejects the login I use on the website without a problem every single time When I try to hit the forgot password link it tells me that there is no account with that email address, even though the website works just fine. Finally, when I give up and try to sign up for a new account, the stupid sign up form is off screen and impossible to center. I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but you win, I give up.

  • Missing basic features

In the age of iPad Pro and Surface Pro, with Adobe rushing into the tablet space, one would hope this app would be better.

It seems like it is just an viewer app. Not really helpful.

    Missing:

    1. Ability to see files you’ve downloaded.
    2. Doesn’t actually load light boxes. (Does anyone from Getty actually use this app?)
    3. Can’t download when on subscriptions.
    4. Can’t seem to buy either.

  • Great app for browsing - not for purchasing

This a smooth, well designed app that could well be better than the mobile site - it's certainly less data heavy. However it doesn't state anywhere I found that this app is ONLY for browsing, and doesn't allow you to purchase credits or purchase images. This is similar to the mobile website which doesn't let me log in on Chrome and not complete credit purchases in Safari.

  • Pointless app?

I have used iStock, in a business and personal capacity for some time now and have always found it to be a great source of professional photography. Having noticed that an application had been released on the iPhone, I jumped at the chance to download. Unfortunately, it seems you can not download images? I fail to see why there is an app then?

It's great I can access my light boxes, but being unable to download photos to your iPhone... Defeats the whole object of the application.

Rated 1* until further, enhanced features are released.
