Superb chord naming identification app

I hate reviews and I gave this was way above 5 stars.

I LOVE this app!!

I switched from piano to fingerstyle guitar as my main instrument a few years ago. I could always figure out what chord I was playing on piano, but on guitar, often I have no clue what I am doing. Now I know how to notate some of the stranger chords!

I especially like that you can do this with different tunings like Drop-D! Five stars all the way!!

Needs MIDI Support

This is a good app - simple, accurate. What it really needs is MIDI support - it shouldn’t be difficult to enter chord data by MIDI keyboard controller, and see the result instantly on screen. :/

Useful and Ethically made

I’d downloaded this app to help identify some chords in a song I was trying to learn. It doesn’t do that, that was my error. But what it does do, it does very well.

What’s impressed me most though, is that the developer gives you a free trial to test out its features with no obligation. Many apps offer free trials that you then have to cancel before they expire or you are charged automatically.

This app doesn’t do that. You have to opt in, not out. That the developer has chose this model when he could so easily have made a quick buck speaks volumes about his dedication, integrity, and confidence in his product.

If you download this, and you’re in a position to do so, I highly recommend rewarding him with a subscription. He’s a rare breed.

Find your alternate tuning chord shapes!

Finally something that allows me to find chords when I am trying out different tunings. 100% worth paying for.

Wrong name of chords are shown

Wrong name of chords - I need f finished and is giving me G#maj7(5).. the program needs some revision

Features taken away

And now you want me to pay. Lame.

Was better before!

I don’t think it was smart to try to make the piano come with a paid version.. I will no longer use the app and I’ll go to a free one. It’s not worth it anymore. Used to not be that way.
