Must have for museum visit!
I downloaded the app to show me around the museum. I was so impressed with the directions that this app contains. I just typed in the exhibit I wanted and then it took me there step by step. Saved so much time rather than wandering aimlessly hoping to find what I was after.

If you are planning on visiting the American Museum of Natural History, you should download this app. Point by point navigation to all your
favorite exhibits (even the bathrooms and cafes). Interactive features for the kids and suggestions if you have no idea where to start. If you've been here before, you know this museum can be daunting; so explorer is like a little guidebook right on your phone. Ps. By far my most favorite feature of this app is the indoor turn by turn directions. It makes an otherwise stressful visit (trying to figure out how to get where you want to go) a very enjoyable one.revNickname41

The long way, through the gift shops
The app is useful, but back it up with a physical map of the museum, if you're taking kids and trying to avoid emptying your wallet at every gift shop. The app gives you directions to the exhibits.... But in structured steps so you can't see your whole route, and only later realize you went the longest most foolish way possible, structured to make you pass through every gift shop in the museum unnecessarily. Also, app relies on Bluetooth.... Which doesn't work at all, in the exhibits you have no service in, like the ocean hall.Show lessLeFeeVerte
Worked well!
Map and directions worked perfectly for us. Liked the extra info and general overview of exhibits. Helped us choose where to go. It would be nice if we could see planetarium and other showtimes in it.Museum Goer
Excellent way finding
I took my family to the museum and used this app to get around. It works both as a preview of the exhibits as well as to give you more info while you're there. The navigation and the experience is excellent and very easy to use. Love it.An_acrostic
