This is a classic style arcade shooter where you control a plane in WWII and must destroy enemies to stay alive. The graphics and animations are solid, and there are a few pretty near features. For younger players, there is an easy mode as well as a hard mode for more advanced players.
There are a few planes to choose from as well as additional ones for purchase. Each plane has different stats, such as better or worse health and power.
The game has a lot of potential, but sadly the controls are not very accurate. It feels delayed when you love left and right. This makes it very frustrating when attempting to dodge enemy fire. The bomb is also not as satisfying as older shooters. Overall, I would recommend trying out the free version if interested in this type of game.
The game is nice shooter, no doubt. However it has some major flaws in terms of control. If you are using your finger to control the plane, there will be areas that are blocked by your finger, usually toward the bottom of the screen. Since that is where some enemies spawn, it poses a problem to players like myself, especially with the collision damage you take. Additionally, the helper planes are a nuisance. With both of the helper planes, the main vehicle cannot direct its fire to the edges of the screen, where there are many enemies.
Overall, it's a decent shooter.
Edit: explored the control options, still a bit awkward, but see a definite improvement.
To the idiot with the #1 review and the filthy mouth. You first asked to make level 8 easier it's to hard for you. Then you say to the motherless cu-ts stop saying its to hard. Well are you not the one saying its to hard by asking to make it easier. ? You are obviously not to bright my man or should I say you motherless cu"t. Because that's what your calling yourself by asking to make it easier. It's hard to sour with eagles when your surrounded with turkeys. Big mouth small brain. Great game. Even idiots can play (obviously).
This game is the 💣 I beat the game but at the end in the credits it says "to be continued". I really think they should make a second part or update it and make more levels to play. That would keep me playing it for hours and hours ,well any ways please make a #2 😨.
The game is good but you and two additional planes lack the fire power to take out enemy ships as you complete each mission. Bombing is ineffective against the bigger war ships. Also the iPhone screen is to small to keep up with all the planes attacking you needs some adjustments. Mission the warship takes up almost all the screen space. And why is it so hard to knock the guns on the ships they have way more fire power than the planes. Do the app creators read our reviews I guess not since no updates have come. Just want our money! Additionally, the up date was okay but the enemy still has an advantage with the use of lasers. When will our fire power match more evenly with the enemy. It is very hard to get pass the laser!!!
The game was good overall, controls were a little weird, but what do you expect it's a touch screen. The levels were good until level 8. Level 8 is impossible to beat, the bullets follow you and cover half the screen, planes home towards you, if you don't kill them they come from behind and ram you, planes that you past still shoot at you, so annoying. I would rate this 5 stars if there was a way to beat level 8 on normal and hard to get the extra planes.
There are two reasons why this game isn't awesome. One, the interface is annoying. Considering screen real estate is at a premium on iPhones, it's upsetting to see such a large portion of the screen taken up by the "cockpit" interface. I understand they're going for that arcade-style dashboard, but all these elements could have been set as overlays, and kept subtly out of the way. Frankly, I don't understand why the high score is given such prominence during actual gameplay — what year is this.
The second is the controls. While we're given the choice of touch, relative touch, joystick, and motion tilt, the only viable option is touch. Motion is too difficult to respond precisely. The joystick is a joke, and relative touch doesn't work on a screen this small. So that leaves touch. Great, except for the fact that your thumb is going to obstruct half the screen! The health meter is almost always hidden behind my thumb, and many enemies and projectiles will appear out of no where, having come from behind me.
The game is fun, but frustrating for these two reasons. If the screen real estate was better used, and if so many enemies didn't come from behind all the time, it would be a different story.
I would give this game zero stars if I could. This game is way to hard on the "hard" difficulty without the extra, expensive content. Download this if you want hours or hair pulling, vein bursting rage running through you. The designers could have made it remotely possible to win, but no. They just want you to buy the downloadable content to squeeze some extra cash out of you. If it were possible to win on hard, without days of agony, this review might be different. For now though, this is one of the worst games I have played in a while. At least I didnt have to pay for it...
Biggest bunch of crap. Got through the first 7 levels in an hour. I've been stuck on level 8 for two days. This is the story with any difficulty. Lvl 8 is impossible. I understand the company wants to make 99 cents off of kids to buy those planes, but seriously, make it fair. Deleting this game and not planning on downloading anymore games from these guys.
You have to try this game. It is soooooo addicting. Since it was recently updated you can purchase better fighters for the more advanced enemies; they worth it. Believe me you will never delete this app.
