Missing some hiragana diacritics
The methodology they use to learn the hiragana characters isgreat but it's missing some, such as gi, ji, pu, ge, gyu, byo etc...it only has the main monographs. It would be a top app if it included these but only includes 46. There is also room for improvement in their examples by using the sounds of the characters rather than the visual. Since "ru" sounds like "lu" when spoken I wish they would use phrases and pictures to match that, rather than match the visual e.g. "ru Russian rubies" instead they could use "ru Lucy Liu". I hope they add the rest of the characters to this app!Show lessMiddlefee
Funtastic
This is a great app for learning hiragana. Admittedly it does look a bit childish but the memory tricks they use have taught me almost the entire set in one night. Highly recommended for fast fun learning.Pimmsby
Best app for learning hiragana
I bought this app because another review had mentioned that it only took them an hour to learn all the Hiragana. I was skeptical, but bought it anyway. I am so glad I did. I've been needing to learn all the Hiragana for my Japanese class for a few weeks now, but don't do well studying from flash cards. Repeatedly writing it got boring for me, and I often found myself daydreaming, then realizing I couldn't connect symbols with words. In about an hour and a half, I could recognize all the Hiragana with ease. I didn't have to go through the whole table in my head. I highly recommend this app.Show lessPwngasm
Wonderful
I've been trying to pick up hiragana without luck for some time. This app is hilarious and educational. My son and I "played" the quizzes for over an hour without realizing it. In that hour we both learned 100% of the symbols. Top drawer app.Sschnob

Great app, makes learning hiragana characters much much easier. I would give this app 5 stars if it included quizzes and learning mode for modified hiragana also. Please update to include this!H Courtney
