  • Denon - has introduced bugs in update

Come on Denon. You are better than this. I am a loyal customer with a few products. This app has been updated and now crashes constantly and find it difficult to detect any Denon device on wireless (wired seems a lot better, but not perfect).
    Please update to fix bugs.

A loyal but. Wet disgruntled customer.

  • This app makes me want to pull my hair out

This app makes me want to pull my hair out. Fine for turning my receiver on and off and turning volume up or down. Terrible for features like "pandora integration"....can never get it to pull up station on my pandora with out screen and attempted selection going bonkers. It is irritating when you are listening to a network station and then want to browse for something new, that it shuts off whatever you were listening to when you leave that screen. Seems buggy all around and in the last year or so it has made me wonder if it was a bad choice to go denon. Saw a third party app i am going to try in lieu of this app. Praying it works better...I am so over this one. Extremely irritated.

  • Functional

Nothing to rave about but does its job. To people having issues with it not finding reciever, i had same issue in beginning. After hair pulling experience with hard wiring to router not fixing, finally solved with ip reservation. For some reason denon renews ips even on new models causing apps or ios not to see it. Make sure your reciever is hardwired and a designated ip through your router.

  • Remote On

Would be great if you could turn on the amp from the App otherwise does what I need.
  • Incredibly awful

I find Denon to be very good in terms of physical products, but this app is just embarrassing. Not even being scaled for the iPhone Plus, it hardly ever, ever works and is very slow on launch for a fairly straightforward app. This is in desperate need of an update or an entire new app all together. Sometimes it doesn't even find the hi-fi, or if it does it won't turn it on! Completely dreadful app.

  • Very useful but slow load times

This application is useful and does work with my avr 3100w but load times are slow. Once the app is up and running it is fast. Maybe that is a function of the avr and not the app I don't know. The radio stations that I selected as favourites integrate well into this app better than the other iOS app I tested, also very useful for finding new radio stations. I like the way the main screen of the app is configurable . Please do keep working on this app and improving it.

  • Terrible

Had this app for a couple of years now, used to work fine until the last update. Now all I can do is turn on or off my denon. Trying to stream music from my phone or iPad results in a split second of music as a teaser then silence........screen on denon then shows my home network name and nothing!
The whole point of purchasing this unit was to take advantage of home sharing.
Come on denon, stop ignoring your customers and fix this problem before you have no customers left!

  • Great concept, shame it hardly ever works

Worked brilliantly the first time I tried it. Delighted that i could use my ipad to control the music server without having to strain to see what was on the Ceol's display screen. What's more, I did not even need to keep the ipad on all the time. Shame it's hardly ever worked since. This version was supposed to have been an improvement, but it's every bit as bad and useless as the old one. The shame of it is that Denon does not seem to care.

  • Not working with iPhone 7

Fabulous app works great just don't update to the iPhone 7 iOS 10.1.1
  • This is what happens when you let the competition design your product

Did Onkyo design this to make fun of Denon? The other reviewers are correct in that this is not reliable. And the user interface seems like it's a game. If you are listening to something, and click on a page, it turns off what you are playing. Then you have to go through the steps to turn it back on. The you look at another page, and there goes your music again. If this was a game, it would be very hard to play. Denon should actually try their products before releasing them. This is NOT worth the free price; it's more work than not using it.
