I had an Instagram for over a decade and in november it was suspended for "fraud". I had never violated any of the community guidelines. I filed several appeals with videos of my face and sent several emails to Instagram support without a response. This was during hurricane Helene disaster in my area and without phone lines this was one of the only ways to contact some people.
My Facebook was also disabled as a result. There Was never a response to my suspension and eventually I got an email saying it had been permanently banned again. I've never violated any of the community policies. I created a new Facebook and Instagram account which I have had for less than a month. Twice now, my Instagram account has suspended me from doing certain activities like adding friends or liking and viewing stories. I don't like an excessive amount of stories or comment excessively. I also did not follow a large number of people. I was only trying to follow the ones I had followed previously on my prior Instagram. Today l received another notice that my account has been disabled for fraud. This time it requested not only a video of my face but a picture of my license or ID. I submitted both but l'm not hopeful since I didn't get a response last time. There is clearly an issue with suspending accounts incorrectly, there should be a team to be able to respond and correct this, especially since it's some peoples only form of contact with others.

New features are in demand
I’m writing this because I could absolutely find no other way whatsoever pertaining to suggesting what we, as constant users of Instagram, like to see being added to the app! One would think that there’s already user-developer interaction whereby one would be able to consult or recommend new features/options demanded by the majority but I’m disappointed to inform you all there’s none! Instead of numerous almost identical nugatory features I can assure you no one has asked for that come with every single new update, we chiefly need the ability to add more photos or videos to an already existing post without having to delete the entire thing and re-upload which will also result in sabotaging the chronological order of our Instagram grid just to make a few adjustments we may have simply forgot prior to uploading. Not only is this process time-consuming and utterly exasperating but it is even more so embarrassing to see our followers are forced to watch and like repetitious posts over and over again! I for one am definitely mortified by the amount of time I have had to delete a post and then repost because I wasn’t happy with a certain picture(s) on my grid. So I’m asking you to please consider passing it on to the developers and ask them to come up with a new feature where we can add new content or make revisions to an old already existing post without having to remove anything.

Our Energy Is Better Spent In Reality
Instagram has no control over privacy or user well-being. Instagram’s process for recovering accounts if hacked is cumbersome or non-existent. Instagram keeps largely silent about that issue, while thousands of accounts are subjected negativity daily. We pour so much of ourselves into these devices and platforms either through personal details, business information, stories, photos, etc and it is scary to find out that this "bubble of security" we all think we have isn't actually so private or secure in the end at all. It feels powerless and sickening. If you choose to invest so much of yourself and time in technology- know that at anytime it can be taken away. It’s noteworthy that Instagram will leave you abandoned and unsupported. We’re just a number and money generating cog, masquerading as if we have any control. Time and energy better served in reality. Social media apps are unhealthy, and designed to manipulate and take advantage of human psychology, hormones, and emotional well-being for a quick buck, to keep you scrolling, keep you clicking, keep you buying, keep you identifying as someone other than your true self. People manipulate its use to abuse, bully, harass, berate, steal, sexualise and more negative connotations–including being a catalyst for suicide, social media does more harm than good. It’s worth acknowledging–our energy is best served in reality.

U should add new features..
Ok.. I would like to convince instagram to add new features..
I think when in groupchat, before kicking someone out, they have to vote whether they want that person kicked out because some people kick people out group chat for no reason and if a lot of people said no then they don’t get kicked out , if a lot of people said yes then they get kicked out.. also tell us who read the groupchat and who’s typing.. I also think they should allow us to do the poll vote thing because when I try to do it, it don’t work and doesn’t even send.. and keep the groupchat call thing..
I think u should allow us to screenshot and screen record videos and pictures they send and keep it to when we can see if someone screenshotted.. And also longer voice notes from 5-10 minutes, and if someone block u on a specific account then they only blocked u on that account.. don’t block every account that person they blocked have.. and also tell if someone unfollowed and blocked.. same with followed and unblocked.. keep the option to turn off activity status and read receipts.. and bring back the group note feature.. and also let us choose custom chat themes because the same wallpapers are borning.. allow more personalized content recommendation.. and improve the search results more accurately because they don’t be accurate for me..

Ok look…
Personally im an anomaly. So no one really gets what im doing, i barely do. But thats ok. No One has to agree with me or participate in my art account if they dont want to because its my art. But thats why i have a personal account for non art Stuff which is just as important. But i have to have both in order to have the both thats just how i work. But im the only one that does my art so its not a problem. Im the only one with this type of gift and i work in all different artforms because thats how i am. But also i need what i care about most so i feel healthy and positive about doing this. And thats a seperate personal account that has to be just a secure as my work account, and i work from home because i have life stuff to take care of and i wouldnt be blessed enough to do any of this if i wasnt a good responsible person that took care of people. So its all good. Im all for taking care of everyone and everyone making sure they dont hurt each other because thats a waste of time when we can all be being creative with whatever we want to do. Just be responsible because i like to work with nice people and not be stressed out. So yeah hit me for collabs in my dms. I wont ask you to do anything your not confortable with and likewise. I don’t see why everyone in the reviews think it’s such a bad app, personally myself I love it and I never used to use to but it has become my favourite app off all time, and the great change about it is when I put a sound on one of my photos and I saved it to my camera roll it would never let me use the sound it would have to mute the sound to save it and now it is letting me save it with the sounds and I’m very happy and great full for that change of update but the only thing that I’m not so keen on is that when I made my acc I started following loads of ppl so it didnt look like a fake acc and it would only let me follow a certain amount of ppl but I’ve had my acc a few months or so now so I havent got to run into that problem again and another slight issue is that I only have one acc and it won’t let me make another one only if I make another acc on another device and log into it on my device but besides that I love that app and so grateful for instagram letting us all have the opportunity to have this app so I would really recommend it to the ppl that is reading my review.
