I Despise Facebook.
Facebook is an absolutely atrocious, embarrassment of a platform. First of all, it’s beyond pathetic that a billion dollar company doesn’t have a customer support team. There are so many broken pages and glitches that never get fixed, and filling out a report does nothing. Not being able to change your name for 60 days with no exceptions for typos, misspellings, or hasty decisions is ridiculous. Why isn’t 3 days good enough? I especially hate the heavy censorship on this “social” media platform; it’s extremely biased, unfair, and inconsistent. They let some users get away with stuff but not others. Their “technology” doesn’t understand context, jokes, or anything like that. Who thought it was a good idea to allow Facebook to police every single thing that people say? I feel like a five year old being scolded for saying a “naughty” word. Several G-rated comments I’ve made lately still don’t show up. They’re not deleted, just hidden for no reason whatsoever. Facebook really does decide what gets posted and what doesn’t and sometimes they don’t even have the decency to tell you. Encrypted chat is a disaster, it keeps deleting my chats and they never bothered to explain how it really works in the first place. I’m going to delete my account soon and I’ll be so happy about it. Facebook won’t let you comment or talk to people anymore, so what’s the point?!!Jam9996
Marketplace and Downhill Slide
I HATE HATE HATE HATE the prompt “is this still available?” It’s such a waste of my time and encourages people to waste it! Over half the people that ask to buy something simply lose interest and stop responding. THAT question starts it. I have wasted hours of my life responding “yes” to that dumb question. And now the new template response, “yes are you still interested”?!? If they weren’t why did they ask to begin with?!? Questions I want to see are of buyers asking where and when to meet, etc or for more information, done. Fast and simple transaction. Not hemming and hawing for weeks. I know there are many other people like me who delete ads right after things are sold and are also frustrated by this, so PLEASE change it!
Facebook is progressively becoming more of a clickbait ad site instead of a place to see and follow friends. Moreover Facebook is doing nothing about ad scams. I personally lost $80 from one of them selling inflatable kayaks I never got, and there’s a YETI one with fake Yeti bags they’re doing nothing about. I’m sick of ads in the marketplace such as Yumi or whatever it’s called. I accidentally click on it every time because it looks just like any other ad so then I have to close the link and get back to marketplace getting annoyed.
I’m nearly to the point of deleting facebook. If so much of my life and that of my family wasn’t on here in timeline, I would.SabineH43275829271629426528

Update: marketplace won’t load past first 6 items
My reviews keep getting deleted. Facebook is propaganda pushing, now meta AI pushing garbage. They don’t listen to your complaints. They don’t care that their platform doesn’t work for the end user. They don’t care that they provide a garbage product that doesn’t work well. Among so many other complaints, comment sections still not showing all results. You expand the comments section and it’s still only showing most relevant results. This feed showed 7 comments but even expanded only showed 2. Still can’t sort and filter in marketplace. Some of the time it works but not on the search for free or certain search keywords. Marketplace won’t let me rate sellers anymore. They don’t let you find the seller once they delete the post so if they are acting horrible to you, you can’t report them. Not that Facebook does anything when you report people who are actually breaking FB own rules. They target and block information, creating misinformation, pushing media narratives, creating drama and instigating fear and anger by their users to create more interaction. They ghost block specifically almost anything non-leftist/liberal. Religious values, Conservative, Libertarian, free speech, etcetera is all blocked, restricted or interfered with. Basically everything that happens in a communist or totalitarian state, they’re doing. Oh and mining information and selling it.Login issues grrrrrrfcssth
