Soon as you see a post from someone you know just comment something that is obviously a joke but watch the reaction from people who think you are being serious and think that they need to say something to inform you that you are wrong.

New update
Love using the app. I HATE that the new update made your profile pic automatically get shared to your story. And I can’t find the option to turn it off. Either add and “off” option or get rid of the function all together 😒 I also don’t know what it is you DID do to the update cause now when I open Facebook and have music playing on my soundbar it turns off my music, AND THERE ISN’T EVEN A VIDEO ON MY HOPE PAGE TO PLAY. I’ve tried turning the “auto play” feature off and it keeps turning itself back on. I can’t watch my “silent” Facebook videos or even use the Facebook app (it happens when I click on ANY posts comments (NOT just video posts), scroll down my timeline or finish watching all my friends stories, even as something as simple as clicking on a picture that was posted on my timeline will turn it off when I back out of the post.) while my son naps anymore cause it turns his music off. Whatever you guys did reverse it PLEASE.
Came back to re-update my review And would really like to see an option to move a post with several photos (more than one) to an album after the post has already been posted. I didn’t realize that I should’ve either created or selected an existing album before posting the post and I have some posts and pictures from months and years ago that I cannot move into newly created albums because there’s more than one photo in the post

Disgusted is an understatement
I’ve been using Facebook for over 16 years and not once I’ve ever had a problem. Recently, I was hacked my account information changed and I’ve since struggled to get back into my account. This has been ongoing for two months now. The account that I own, the one that I’ve been using on the same device for two years and now suddenly there is a problem that Facebook does not except that I’m using the same device. I have since been unable to change my details since given my business, a bad reputation as the hacker also got into that.
Facebook hasn’t done anything to help or fix this issue and allowed my account to be hacked again - password changed, and device changed and now again I have since been unable to get into my account. I have not been able to get in contact with customer service because they are not getting my messages or are ignoring them. I am not sure but since the 2 incidents have occurred, my account has been hacked and my friends accounts have been hacked and Facebook still hasn’t done anything about it apart from block me using my own account. I will be deleting my account indefinitely and I will now stop using Facebook for any business and personal use.

Finally become unusable
Facebook has long been a necessary evil but the app has reached the point now where it’s just got more bad points than good. A friend had their photos nicked and used to set up another account and no action was taken; most of the comments under pretty much everything are from bots or trolls or people so wound up by bots and trolls that they’re just there to have a row - and if you do interact with them it’s impossible to actually find any replies you get because the notifications no longer redirect you properly; almost all of the written or artistic content being shared is now AI-generated rubbish and most of the video-sharing accounts are stealing and aggregating other people’s content so you see the same overused or nonsense reels going around again and again and again and there’s no way to stop any of it appearing because the app is set up to show you all of it as often as it can get away with. It used to be an app where you could keep up with people. It’s utterly, utterly lost that. It sold out long ago but it’s now hit the point where it’s no use to anyone who’s not trying to make money off it. The desktop site isn’t much better but the app is atrocious. Deleted.

SAD!
Every time I try to access fb for the past 2 months I get a screen saying “the link may be broken or the page may have been removed” i’ve had other friends search up my account and it’s perfectly fine. No one has hacked me.. I am able to change my password and receive notifications from fb but I’m still met with this interference. I’ve reached out to Facebook for help, I’ve emailed and also reported the issue and also tried to reach out to Mark Zuckerberg himself all to no avail. I have deleted the app and re-downloaded it, I have updated the app and even attempted to make a new account to see if the issue was the app and a new account works just fine just not my old one.. Facebook hasn’t reached out to me to say I’ve been banned or I have done something inappropriate even, there’s nothing! I am just not able to login anymore for no reason.

Meta incorrectly disabling users from FB & insta
I had an Instagram for over a decade and in September it was suspended for “fraud”. I had never violated any of the community guidelines. I filed several appeals with videos of my face and sent several emails to Instagram support without a response. This was during hurricane Helene disaster in my area and without phone lines this was one of the only ways to contact some people. My Facebook was also disabled as a result. There was never a response to my suspension and eventually I got an email saying it had been permanently banned again. I’ve never violated any of the community policies. I created a new Facebook and Instagram account which I have had for less than a month. Twice now, my Instagram account has suspended me from doing certain activities like adding friends or liking and viewing stories. I don’t like an excessive amount of stories or comment excessively. I also did not follow a large number of people. I was only trying to follow the ones I had followed previously on my prior Instagram. Today I received another notice that my account has been disabled for fraud. This time it requested not only a video of my face but a picture of my license or ID. I submitted both but I’m not hopeful since I didn’t get a response last time. There is clearly an issue with suspending accounts incorrectly, there should be a team to be able to respond and correct this, especially since it’s some peoples only form of contact with others.

I love staying Connected with out of State Family
💜💜💜💜💜I have been on Facebook for a long time and although I like OLD FACEBOOK better…I still enjoy using this over other platforms…Old FB showed you ALL the Posts of whoever you FRIENDED & showed you every comment in a post…which is what I wanted….NEW FB doesn’t show me my friends posts…I have to search for it AND when I comment under a post because I am not an important person My comment does NOT get seen…so I am pretty much invisible….I hate most of the advertisements except the pages I follow….I have to scroll through a lot of things I don’t care about….but IF I DO like a page; for example: I like journals & stationary then I love getting post with their newest products…..I feel like you took AWAY my choice and try to make choices for me based on algorithms….REGARDLESS….I am grateful that I can stay connected with my niece who lives in another state with messages & photos….
*** the only suggestion of a feature would be a by DATE search bar on my own page where I could for example look up Christmas from 10 years ago AND see every post I made on that day & every posts others made…I like the MEMORY FEATURE but I want to look up any day at any time….I understand it is s about making money but I truly miss old FB.

Scammers taking over Groups
I have joined many interest groups but they have been a favorite place for scammers to write their redundant ploys. One tells the reader that someone won a car, cabin, or whatever but the winner didn’t claim it so they offer it to the first one who clicks on a link. Another repetitive one is by a so-called psychic who saw your picture and/or read your “About” statement or saw a post you made and they know what you’re future holds so the target should Message them. Others, targeting females say that they love your post, thought you were beautiful and want you to friend them. If you look at their home page it says they’re divorced, single, or are a widower. Their photo always includes a child or pet and they (or someone else’s photo they are using because that person is better looking) only have a few posts evident and NO INFO on their “About” space. I GET MANY OF THESE AND AM SICK OF IT! Why can’t you STOP this???
ANOTHER problem users have is people posting totally off-subject topics in Groups. Can’t you force Admins to delete topics that have NOTHING to do with what the Group is about? I think Groups have come to meaning NOTHING! I plan to dump most of the ones I joined as soon as I figure out how to do that. The HELP section should tell me but it doesn’t.

Facebook Marketplace
I recently had posted an item for sale that they said was against the rules , an I could lose my right to sell any item on there. I didn’t agree they should block it so I asked to have it reposted. The response was they would get back to me with a decision. I’m pretty sure I was supposed to hear back from them within 24 hours. I Patiently waited 3days no response. I started clicking on it no news/ just more of same thing about my item if I didn’t delete it, I’d get kicked off. An I still don’t know why I couldn’t sell it. It is a Vietnam wooden ammunition box has handles. It does say on it. Return to box control. So I kept asking myself what did I do against their policy. The only thing I could come up with was the return to box control. Do they think it was stolen or because it was an ammunition box or both which I’m sure it wasn’t stolen and I listed it for that Vietnam war veteran that would like to have it. How do I make Facebook marketplace? Tell me the reason and why can’t I list it? I need to know for future references because I have similar other items. I’ve gone over the rules what you can and can’t do and I’ve seen clever ways people get around it shouldn’t be like that anyway. Sincerely, April Rose.

Facebook is so great!
It would be made better for me if
1) I could sort in market place, those things I have not read to the top of the list on that page.
2) stop adding to my inbox by making a fake question that says: “are you still interested”. It appears in bold, as if you have a new message from the seller… but in reality it’s just to misguild you and make an unread message by Facebook putting their nose in my business. I have the ability on my own to follow-up and inquire if I’m still interested or not. From a seller perspective, they should understand that I’m not interested enough to purchase at that point in time. And, it would be socially awekward to interrupt my day with such obviousness. But low and behold Facebook doesn’t care so they go ahead and add another 1-2 automated questions to each item I inquire about. Stop doing this it’s rude.
3) I have no other complaints other than selling micro organisms is no more selling animals than the lady down the street who sold a dump truck load of “dirt” filled with micro organisms…. Which is “fine” since they are sold as dirt…. But tell people all the animals you get in that pile and they take down your post! 🤦🏻♂️💡👌
