Reviews of Due

  • Great tool for ADHD

This app is amazing! It helps me keep important tasks in view so I can check several times a day to see what I may have otherwise lost sight of. With Daily Recurring Tasks, I can check each task off for today, and it will pop up for me again tomorrow. NOTE: At first I had set each task with audible alarms and snooze timing, but soon learned that drove me crazy since I use Due for so many different tasks. Now, just the time-sensitive tasks are set that way and I set mundane tasks without alarms or snooze - that way they just pop up on a list of Due items and I can quickly mark several of them done throughout the day without as many nagging reminders. I also love being able to delay the timing for tasks if I’m running behind. If you’ll take the time to understand each of the features and options I think you’ll love this app, too!
  • Great app

The app is awesome, the developer seems to really care and I hope the app will be around for a long time to come. I'm not a fan of subscriptions and appreciate the upgrade pass model, paying for upgrades you feel are worth while or passing if not, but being able to keep all previously paid for features permanently. My only concern is if I subscribe and then immediately unsubscribe kinda of a paid upgrade its good for a year, but I have seen complaints involving other apps where customers are having trouble unsubscribing and continued to be billed. I'd love to see a onetime lifetime payment option offered, and would seriously consider purchasing if offered. Anyhow keep up the great work, and if for any reason the app can't be maintained, I hope Apple would consider purchasing Due and keeping it around, it's that good. The app continues to improve and impress me. I have one request, in the timers section would it be possible to add days, months, and years and custom time picker like 360 days? It would work sort of like a timer reminder. Really appreciate this app, great job.

    Developer Response

Thank you for taking time to leave a review and for sharing your thoughts on the subscription. All subscription billing goes through Apple's system, and you'd be able to see and cancel with the steps detailed in https://support.apple.com/HT202039 Upon subscribing, Due will also provide a "Manage Subscription" button that will open up the subscription page in the App Store, where you'll have the option to stop it from renewing.
  • Nice app but need two added features

I really like the app and use it all the time. There are two features I would like added. A couple of times I have hit the “complete” check mark button or swiped sideways by accident. Then the whole reminder is gone and you can’t bring it back. It would be nice if completed items stayed somewhere for a day or two so that you could bring them back if you made a mistake. Maybe I’m missing something in the software, but I looked and couldn’t find anything about this.

The second thing I would like is a way to set quarterly reminders (every three months). At the moment I just set them monthly and click done on the months they don’t apply, but that is a little confusing. A typical quarterly thing is a tax payment of some sort, like my local real estate taxes.

    Developer Response

Hi, thank you for leaving a review. If you mark a reminder complete within the app, there will be a "Undo" button that appears below the screen that you can use to undo the action. If the undo button disappears before you get a chance to tap on it, shaking your phone brings up an undo option too. Next, you can repeat a reminder every N day, week, month, or year by following the steps in this video: https://due.la/repeat-every-n-calendar-unit Hope that helps!
