Excellent technique and technology
Well done! Hands-down my favorite French app, and I have purchased nearly all that are available. It engages me in both learning and my own evaluation - and gives great pronunciation feedback. Content-wise, as someone who has spoken French for work the last two years, I'm pleasantly surprised to be learning some excellent points even at the lowest level card sets. This app is amazing! You don't waste time studying terms you already understand and the app is super user friendly. Memorization is fast and I couldn't have learned French without it!Cait74912

Do not waste your money. This app is not about education. It's a marketing ploy. After purchasing, Brainscape requires you to sign away your privacy rights and create an account through Facebook or email before you can access a lesson or use the app. Disgusting and deceptive. Greatest app I've come across for memorizing and retaining vocab, conjugations and grammar. Uses SRS to test you on words right before you forget them. I wish I started using it earlier.

Fantastic App For Learning Anything
I've used brainscape for years to help me quickly learn French vocabulary, and study for intensive memorization tests. The card creation tool is great on the main app -- and this wholistic French one does a great job too. It focuses less on understanding elements of grammar, and more on building up a sizable working vocabulary. Something that really ought to be the first goal when learning another language.

Took a very, very long time to download and is very uninvolving, repetitive, annoying and tedious to play. I'm straight back to Duolingo. Maybe this would be a better rating if I'd used it for longer before being hassled for my opinion???Show lessLlani-bikes
