Stuck at Logging In
Entered the pin as instructed but stuck at logging in. I can log in on the web version without problems but the app is not working at all.
App going down hill
I used to use this app for everything. But now I can’t report spam, and I’m getting too much it. (Being added to scam groups). They need to fix their reporting mechanism and the ability to leave.
App stopped working
Used to work fine. Now it won’t let me log in. I keep getting “Something Went Wrong”. Has been like this for a couple of weeks now.
Too many bots..
Please fix the bot issue. Too many bots trying to scam people and at this point it’s just annoying. It makes me not wanna use the app anymore. I will switch to something else until the bot scammer issue is fixed.
App is great, but I can’t login to my account
As much as this app is good for making group chats and etc, when I try to login with my account and after the pin is verified, it gets stuck at that screen forever with no action whatsoever.
The web version allows me to login to my account perfectly fine, but not this app. I would recommend using only the web version of GroupMe since it’s quite clear to me that the web version is more maintained than this app.

Verification process is horrendous
I think the app itself is fine, but you need to jump through so many hoops in customer service to get help. My account is frozen (I don’t even know how this happened in the first place, it was just like this one day when I opened the app) and for some unknown reason the only way to verify myself is to give them my most recent group chat and direct message. THE PROBLEM IS… I only use GroupMe for school purposes so it’s not very often and I don’t even think I’ve used the direct messaging function before. Their customer service representatives REFUSE to verify the account in any other way but this is just not information I can feasibly give. I have so many other ways of proving the account is mine but the unwillingness to try something else is extremely frustrating.
This is just a warning to all users that you need to remember these two stupid pieces of information.

Sign in problems
Oh my gosh. The amount of issues I’ve had signing in is absolutely insane and stupid. I had gotten signed in, SAVED THE LOGIN TO MY PHONE, AND NOW IT’S NOT THE CORRECT LOGIN?!!??!!?!?!? I get it, apps have trouble with things sometimes, but the amount of problems I’ve run into with something as so simple as LOGGING IN is just freaky, ridiculous and frustrating. It’s a good app for communicating with people, but only if you get lucky and actually sign in. FOR THOSE WHO GET LUCKY: pray that nothing goes wrong because support is pretty much nonexistent.

Very inappropriate
This app should not be rated 13+ I was looking for a meme group chat to make me laugh and I saw one I was gonna try only to join and be instantly bombarded by pics of nude girls without clothes on, please make this app more kid friendly

Worst log in ever
I tried for a good half hour to log into a account i had created and it kept popping up with these errors that gave you no info in how to resolve the problem, even after i had reset my password, it still refused to give me the confirmation code to log into my account

Problem With Links
I am unable to share links in group chats. Also, when I go to a link using VoiceOver, VoiceOver does not tell me EXACTLY where the link points to.

LET ME IN!
I cannot log in. I have been locked out due to too many attempts, the issue is that my phone number is tied to the account, but I need it to be use another number to log in. My chats are tied to the email that is tied to the phone number. I updated my email on the website and the app and logged out. Now I can’t log in anywhere or recover my account. Customer service has no idea what’s going on. Devs have no idea what’s going on. What do I do?!

Not user friendly
It’s hard to login and change your name. Please use another program

It’s a great app great resource for loads of things. Remixing items don’t work right now, but I only use it sometimes.

The last time I was able to login to the app version was the end of May. Now it just never logs me in after the verification code. Ugh.
