  • NSF files not supported correctly

I enjoy the app and it's very impressive, but my primary interest is nsf files, and unfortunately they don't work correctly. The app fails to recognize the first track and incorrectly applies the track names for example. Silence of Daylight does not appear in Castlevania 2, and the infamous Bloody Tears is mistitled as Silence of Daylight. It's too bad because everything else works great.

    Developer Response

Hello, I'm a bit surprised as nsf & nsfe support should be great. I never encountered the described issue. Could you send me more details so I can check if it is related to the specific file you're using or not ? contact address is in the "about" page of the app.
  • Awesome app!

Plays almost every kind of music file types under the sun. The playback/plugins are well programmed. However there is one major issue I am facing:

The app crashes if I attempt to select a music from a zipped format. Once a while it randomly crashes which I believe that it could be iOS 11 compatibility issues.

  • Yes! The demoscene lives on!

Pretty much all expectations are fulfilled! Tracker view visualization, multiple playlists and FTP access are among my favorite features. From the massive Modland server, check out the likes of Elwood, Necros, Jeroen Tel, and other brilliant tracker musicians.
  • Supports many sound formats, very buggy

Been using this app for over a year. I love using this program for its wide range of supported formats and it's ability to easily download from various sites, however this program has many frustrating bugs that can cripple your experience. The app intermittently crashes, back button does not play previously track in random mode, random mode only plays first track in a directory of zip files, only 256 downloads are allowed at a time, app deletes your download queue if you minimize the app when not playing music, app often restarts you open another app and you are not playing music (I.e. Someone calls you while you were in the middle of browsing/downloading).

Many of these bugs have been around for quite sometime. If you are looking for an app to play a wide range of formats, this is your tool, you just have to trudge through or workaround the bugs.

  • Can't rate this highly enough

So here I am on a train from Cardiff to Chester listening to some of the heroes of the Commodore 64 music days. Journey is flying by thanks to the apps HVSC links. Brilliant and essential for anyone that appreciates old game music.
  • Is it worth the $?

    Yes. Yes, it is. 👍
  • Great app, but some playback bugs

Love that fact that you can search and download. However I have found that some mods just make that app crash to home screen. No musicline format mods will play at all which is a shame because some of those were fantastic
  • The best chip music player on any system.

Not only does it playback an incredible amount of file types it also has a built in browser that makes finding music easy. Add to that a good way to organise and playback your library and you're left with the best chip tune player I've used on iOS, Mac or Windows.
  • The best mod music player for iOS.

I don't usually write reviews, but it's 2017 and Modizer just got an update and I wanted to say: If you need a module music player, Modizer is what you need. Search for mods in a bunch of different mod archives, download them and start playing them immediately. It's perfect.

If you already have a library of music on your computer, it's so easy to just transfer everything onto your phone, or just use Modizer to search for the songs and download them in a flash. I do it all the time - I'm on my phone, I remember a song I love, and I get on Modizer, search for it, and in a few seconds it's downloaded and playing on my phone.

I cannot praise Modizer enough. I've been using it for years and I am so, so happy that it's still getting updates. If you're like me and want to play some good mod music on your phone, Modizer is just terrific. The other options are all either abandoned or seriously lacking in functionality.

    Get it. Now.

  • Current version feels buggy, crashes often.

This wouldn't happen in the past version. Please take a look at it.
