Fantastic!
Like many other reviewers, I've loved the BS franchise since I first owned it on the Playstation. This port stays true to the original feel of the game and I think it's a good thing they didn't polish it too much as the 'rough-around-the-edges' graphics make me get all nostalgic. Over the years, I have played a lot of the old school click adventures. And this version is one of the best re-mastered ones available on any platform to date. Can't wait for more of these, so keep them coming. This is what the iPad was made for :)Demon5000
Doing it right.
Monkey Island is a great game but I can assure you that when it comes to point and click, Broken sword 1 and 2 are done so much better on the ios. The graphics are smoother and cleaner, the interface isn't messed up with a useless drag around icon system and for the most part, it is glitch free and does everything right. Everything about this game screams out that the dev team cared about how it would play on this format and I haven't looked back since the initial purchase.Show lessRunmaster
Far above average quality
The Broken Sword games are far above average. Very entertaining and enjoyable they depend on intellect and humor rather than thumb dexterity. The story is rich enough to keep you really entertained for the duration of the game. The main shortfall is ... we need more episodes!ZGainsforth

Love this series
I fell in love with the first Broken Sword on Ds and was excited when the sequel came out for my iPod! A great game far. Please release more. Price tag was expensive but worth it I think. I hate paying apps that aren't worth the high price tag but this is not the case for this game.Pegasus_2013
Excellent game
This remastered version of Broken Sword 2 is very well done with some awesome interface changes and a wonderful story. If you loved the early days of adventure games, then you'll like this with updated graphics, great voice acting, and a huge wealth of entertainment factors. Very good, but...
Very good, but...the first one was better. I almost felt like this one was missing parts from the story; there were plot gaps that went unfilled, characters that were never fully developed, and scene changes that lacked a certain "flow" from one to the next. There were also a few minor bugs (in-game characters that appeared at the end of cutscenes, for example). Several of the voice actors were less than satisfying too (esp. Emily, and the retired policeman). However, overall this is a very good game. It's just not as mind-blowingly amazing as the first one.Show lessHoaph
Seems impossible to download!!
I bought this game (having really enjoyed the first Broken Arrow on DS) and have been looking forward to playing it......
HOWEVER......
after nearly 6 days of frustation and repeated attempts, I am still not in possession of the game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have 1.4mb of the 696mb needed and it won't download!!!!
I have cancelled it, tried to rebuy it and got frustrated with it.
I wonder if there are others suffering the same thing???
I know this is a remastered version, and it was updated only a week ago - could there be a glitch in the update I wonder???
If there is anyone who can help I would be very grateful for you advice or input............
