Money Grabbing Creators Remove Features
What used to be a great app has now been destroyed by greedy developers. They now want £50 a year to allow to use the reverse chord finder which until recently, was part of the free bundle.

Best guitar app
This is by far my favorite and go to app for learning guitar I have an addiction to downloading multiple music apps at a time and the vast majority of them ain't worth a dime and I end up deleting them shortly after opening them but this app and alt tuning and scale bank and even uke bank are my favorites and will always be in my pocket book I learn something new Everytime I get on it who knew there were so many ways to play one chord if you can't play that dreaded Barre F chord fear not there are easier versions for example the song house of the rising sun utilizes the easier non barred F chord it won't work with everything that Barre chord will still need to be learned eventually but this has helped me so much I think if not for this app I would have given up on learning guitar but I found this app at just the right time and now I can make my own original songs of course I'm no Jimi Hendrix but I would not be were I am today with my guitar playing if not for this app so thank you. anyone trying to teach themselves guitar this is always the first app among a few others that I recamend they invest in some of them didn't listen to me and made a poor choice and just gave up but you can bring a horse to water but you can't make him drink it but I've babled on long enough y'all get the point it's a great app and maybe make one for bass because that's the next instrument I want to learn thank you

Amazing app with outstanding feature on learning the Neck
I have used this app for years along with his companion app for lead guitar work “Scale Bank”. Not only is it kept updated, continually improved and resourceful for anyone who wants to advance on the guitar. It employs in both app the CAGED approach.
I played in a band for 14 years, studied under a jazz guitarist who introduced me to CAGED years ago. To have this app employing this approach gives true understanding of the entire guitar neck. It liberate your improvisation abilities. I talked with the app creator a couple years ago and was impressed with the passion behind the design. So, don’t walk, run and buy both. You will be glad you did.

GLITCHES!😤😤😤
This one time I got a notification from ChordBank and it taught me how to use the strings but there was also this video I cold watch to get better at it. But then it glitched and lagged then took me to Safari an app on my phone and made me browse guitars EVERY single time I tried to watch the video. THEN, later on,I tried it again and it finally worked but I couldn’t figure it out because it was also the first time I ever got to do it AND it sent me notification so I could only ever do it when or if it sends me a notification. So for the people who want to get this game I would check the ratings and reviews. Just saying!

Nice clear lessons
Enjoying this app - and because of the nice clear instructions on finger placement for the chords, often look to chord bank for revision. And I need to do a LOT of revision.

Amazing Tool
Highly recommend for beginners and all levels of guitar chord players.
It’s good but far too expensive
The price is crazy, especially as it’s a subscription.
Great App … but
This app I great especially for beginner and intermediate guitarists. The chord library is extensive and covers the entire fretboard. I haven’t used the scales or other features as yet.
My only concern is cost. If there were a one time cost that’s reasonable I would pay it. I won’t pay for a subscription because there’s so much I wouldn’t use. I might use the scales, but I don’t need to pay for backing tracks, games, lessons and reverse chord finder. Chords and maybe scales for a reasonable one time fee and I’d buy it, but a subscription for $5/ month or even $40 yearly is too much for what I’d use. Kind of sad because it’s a beautiful app. Maybe the developer will reconsider and offer two different options. I hope so.
