Description of Metes and Bounds Pro

Turn a property deed or legal description into a plat drawing. Supports many units of measurement. Including: feet, meters, and varas. Calculates the area, perimeter and closing error of the plot. Includes the ability to auto-complete a tract if the last call isn't defined. Work with multiple tracks in the same drawing. Want to do even more with the plotted tract? Files can be sent via email to the computer version of Metes and Bounds. And the computer version can export files that can be sent via or imported using iTunes and opened using this software. Provides X,Y coordinates for the tracts endpoints. Have some old family land maps from your genealogy searches? Plot them using measurements such as rods, chains and spans. Realtors can use this application to quickly show potential buyers what a piece of property looks like.

  • Frozen

    App looks to have potential, if you can figure out a way to stop it from freezing up! I can be working on just about any page and hit a button and it freezes instantly. Frustrating to keep rebooting IPAD. Look forward to seeing an update with a fix.

    I do enjoy this app, particuarly since I bought it to help us find a missing chunk of land that doesn't have a deed- but I would really prefer being able to open an email attachment- I don't always have time to go home and download an updated file from iTunes. Dropbox interface would work too. If I could access files more easily between my ipad and my computer, I would give it 4 stars. I would also love to see a panning features that doesn't actually move the parcels, just the view. The scale button is nice, but I can't see larger parcel groups.
