Reliable reporting makes it a winner!
I have had this app since it was available- from the beginning. That must mean something, right? Well as a matter of fact, it does. Every day, multiple times a day, this is my "go- to " for planning my traveling- packing appropriate clothing and being able to prepare for whatever weather conditions are on the way. I also love being able to compare the weather in cities and countries where I have visited- it brings back fond memories. Weather HD works great for me!!!
Thank you so Much for this wonderful app! It really helps me to plan my day!!! My son and I are both trained weather spotters! And my son studied meteorologist in College! My son updates First Responders and Hospital staff with serious weather warnings using Weather HD and especially RadarScope!!! I don’t know if you have heard of Tom Skilling An awesome meteorologist here in Chicago! He is amazing well versed in everything weather related!! Thank you for all you for do!! App is good but saved locations keep being rearranged
I’ve been pretty happy with this app so far, I like the detailed weather and storm information for various locations that I have saved. The only real issue I’ve had with it is that my saved locations keep being arranged every time I go into them. When I tried to contact App Support, they just sent me an email thanking me for my submission and that their team had received my message but they “may not be able to respond to each individual submission”. That was not a helpful response and I don’t know what the purpose of contacting their app support is if they aren’t going to respond to individual submissions.Show lessthe_julester
Rubbish at forecasting, not that great at letting you know what’s happening right now either!
Endlessly changes and often wildly inaccurate. Ok with current temperature but whether it’s raining or not it’s pretty rubbish unless it’s a very, very settled weather system. Absolutely no better than a quick look out the window and your own “feel” for the weather I would suggest. Try dark sky app instead it’s a better forecast view. Unfortunately Apple have bought dark sky and have “ incorporated “ it into their app and somehow lost all of dark sky’s wonderfully clear layout. I like the interface, and the amount of info provided
Pro: Clock feature that can be used to get hourly forecasts on several parameters, like temp, wind, etc. I like seeing current temp and multi-day forecast on the same screen. Barometer trend is useful to put forecast in context. Con: If you travel a lot, and have many locations saved, navigating the location selection list gets clunky. Radar-loop rendering is erratic. I wish it would show a progress bar to see how much data is left to load for a complete loop. The two weather info servers don't always have radar info at overseas locations.Show lessAksel_CVX
Weather app
It's hard to review this app as its only 1 hour old and haven't time to test it out, I like what I've seen so far, love it gives my location not just a city, hope I can look at other weather around the world as well as where I am now, I chose the app because I liked the look of it, guess time will tell. Tried App for a few days and love it will be great for travelling.Show lesslaplap6
Fantastic
This is a great weather app, nice radar and a ton of weather information, usually most apps look pretty but have little information or look bland and have a bunch of info, this app is a great mix of both and even has a nice detailed text version of the forecast. The new animations are great and the future weather maps are an awesome edition with the most recent update. App still continues to be my go to weather app. One thing I would like added is the scientific discussion that I think comes from NOAA. Is there any way to include the scientific discussion in this app, I use weather underground only for that, if it could be added to this one I could abandon weather underground and just have this one??Show lessCaptaink5217
BEEN MY FIRST GO-TO WEATHER APP SINCE ITS INCEPTION!
I was one of the first couple hundred people that noticed and bought this weather app on the first day. I can’t remember when it first came out exactly, but it has been my FAVORITE for years! Ever since that first day - this weather app has been incredibly reliable, accurate, and has a systemic flow that provides quick and excellent weather information from a quick glance, to providing historic weather data that no other weather app (that I have seen thus far) has!!! The colors are absolutely beautiful, attractive, and easy to read. All of this, and the company has never made a move to gouge their customers with silly subscriptions. THIS IS REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOYALTY. LOVE THEM!!! This app is incredible. This is still my "go-to" favorite weather app. I say “still” because eWeather HD gives me more useful information than any other weather app. I know this because I have purchased more than twenty weather apps and eWeather Still comes out on top. Of course, I pay for what I use because it is worth it and I know from experience that serious developers don't work for free any more than user's work for free. So, I choose to pay up front because I despise intrusive advertising. One way or another developers deserve to be paid for their efforts. This really is a professional piece of software. I truly hope the developers continue to support this application because it really is the best I have found, and I have tried and paid for so many! Since I don't live in earthquake counry any more the quake info is less important but eWeather still beats the competition! I was using Dark Sky along with eWeather but since Apple bought Dark Sky it has gone down way hill... I have given Apple Weather an extensive evaluation but Apple has has successfully degraded a good weather app and put their name on it. Too bad, Dark Sky was a nice app.Show lessBink_In_AK
Fantastic Weather App!
Buy this app! You won’t regret it. I wrote the following review 7 or 8 years ago and it still stands. I use this app each and every time I want to check the weather, about 5-10 times per week these days. The improvements to the graphics over the years have been excellent, but the addition of radar is my favorite! It follows thunderstorms and hurricanes almost in real time! Enjoy!

I love this app! I use it 10-30 times daily to check forecasts, temp & barometric pressure in my relatives' areas and in my own. I am disabled and significantly affected by the barometric pressure. I also recently moved across the country, so it's very helpful for me to keep track of the weather & pressure back home & in my new climate. I have recommended this app to many people & will continue to do so. It is the best weather app I've found & I've tried many. In fact, I stopped looking once I found this one because it has all of the info I want in one place & is very accurate. Take my word for it, this is the one you want!Show lessJaxxonville
